I don't like the odds of one of my evil axis schools winning a title if Georgia makes it. The thought of any one of UT, fsu, or georgia winning makes me  so go NC State and screw the SEC.

My 3 favorite teams after the Gators are : 1) Whoever is playing FSU; 2) Whoever is playing Georgia; 3) Whoever is playing Tennessee. Doesn't matter the sport or the situation to me.

On ACC message boards, including those of Clemson, North Carolina, and Virginia, there is a lot of talk about the pro-SEC bias that is pervading the game. Yesterday’s Clemson-UF game was the prime example, with the ump trying to help Florida win, but effort extends to all games. Therefore, NC State will also have to overcome the umps tonight, who will also try to get Georgia in the CWS.

This pro-SEC theory is fascinating given that our fans often complain of an anti-SEC or anti-Gator bias. I am also not sure what the motivation is, I.e. I can’t tell what is supposed to be the benefit to having more SEC teams in the finals.

The World Series will be an all SEC/ACC affair. I don't think it's ever happened that all 8 teams in Omaha are from only 2 conferences.

Tennessee team this year has way fewer horse's asses on it and my innate hatred of all things Nole has me grudgingly pulling for the Volz. Vitello is very different from our coach but strikes me as a Spurrier zinger-flinging type. His record backs him up and it even took Spur-dog a few swings before he got his Championship. Coaches tell teams what to do, etc., but the team decides what is going to be, per my diatribe on other threads. I see our team, with a lot of youth / loss of senior ballast, has just started to find its' legs. Hope, for Cags sake, they take it a long way in Omaha. I have been most saddened by the fact that our regular season woes were diminishing the season for his generational talent. Very glad for that humble young man.

I get it. I see him much like the way the Volz perceived Spurrier: He pissed them with his style off but ran a clean program and was a success. If he was our coach, you'd probably like him but in any other program, esp. one we contend with like UT, he's less fun.

    GO WOLFPACK!

The SEC team with the best possibility of joining UF as the "ONLY SEC SCHOOL with a National Championship in Football, Basketball and Baseball" club is Tennessee. Granted, their hoops under Barnes has under-performed but they have the consistent tourney presence to make it possible.
    UGA? No way in basketball.
aTm? No way in football or basketball. (Leather helmet football natty's are irrelevant)
    Cats? No way in football.

Why I always pull for Arkansas to get beat early. They do have a natty in FB and hoops. Gotta keep 'em out in baseball.

Tennessee has never won the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship!

Of course, they’ve won several Women’s Titles.
    Not the same!!

I'm not sure of your question, but the last team on the line for each year according to the legend is the national champion.

Was listening to a vol radio show and yea they seem to love the guy and are about to give him a huge raise. His abrasive style fits the Vols well but dont think it plays well everywhere.
Don't see the SOS comparison tho. Spurrier had funny quips/sayings, Vitello not so much, just trash talking. Props to him tho he has brought the Vols to new heights so i get the vol fan love. . Could say similar for Mangione at Ky.

The show also gave credit to the Gators baseball program but seemed to really hate Sully. I was surprised by the hate but I'm cool with it. Just jealous I think.

I’ve got to assume that it’s because of the “how dare he leave us” mentality.
