Who are in a war with far more despicable war criminals. Let's not forget that martyrdom is a core belief of Hamas and women and children make far more effective martyrs for the cause than do fighters. Let's also not forget that Hamas is using its network of tunnels to shield it's fighters but not the civilian residents of Gaza. In fact, over the last 17 years Hamas has been using steel and reinforced concrete to construct its network of tunnels while constructing virtually no bomb shelters for civilian residents of Gaza.
In Gaza, Palestinians have no safe place from Israel’s bombs

Say what you will about Che, but he didn't nuke a bunch of civilians or bomb schools full of children. No one cool is putting Harry Truman or Netanyahu on a dorm wall or t-shirt.

This is pretty impressive - you've personally located the best (only?) way to totally stop what has been over 2500 years of terrorism and violence in the Middle East.

And the solution is......wait for it....... : kill lots of Palestinian civilians!! (along with a much smaller amount of Palestinian fighters.)

Weird that nobody ever tried something like this out over the past 25 centuries.

Or maybe they actually did, and we can identify the results one should expect?

Ironic you say that. But discussion for another day.

“Guevara, who was practically the architect of the Cuban–Soviet relationship,[178] played a key role in bringing to Cuba the Soviet nuclear-armed ballistic missiles that precipitated the Cuban Missile Crisis in October 1962 and brought the world to the brink of nuclear war.[179][180] After the Soviets proposed planting nuclear missiles in Cuba it was Che Guevara himself who traveled to the Soviet Union on 30 August 1962, to sign off on the final agreement.[181] Guevara argued with Khruschev that the missile deal should be made public but Khruschev insisted on secrecy, and swore the Soviet Union's support if the Americans discovered the missiles. By the time Guevara arrived in Cuba the United States had already discovered the Soviet troops in Cuba via U-2 spy planes.[182]

A few weeks after the crisis, during an interview with the British communist newspaper the Daily Worker, Guevara was still fuming over the perceived Soviet betrayal and told correspondent Sam Russell that, if the missiles had been under Cuban control, they would have fired them off.[183] While expounding on the incident later, Guevara reiterated that the cause of socialist liberation against global "imperialist aggression" would ultimately have been worth the possibility of "millions of atomic war victims".[184] The missile crisis further convinced Guevara that the world's two superpowers (the United States and the Soviet Union) used Cuba as a pawn in their own global strategies. Afterward, he denounced the Soviets almost as frequently as he denounced the Americans.[185]

If Che had nuked America, no one would be wearing his t-shirt. We wouldnt be having this conversation. Who knows if he actually would have done it or was just trying to sound badass? He wasnt the leader of Cuba or in a position to do it.

Word salad. We protected ourselves from a second 9/11 not by killing a bunch of children but, instead, by securing our planes so they cant be used as weapons anymore and improving our intelligence.

Just a guess but I suspect most of the young people who were or are wearing Che Guevara t-shirts do so to make a fashion statement. They probably have no idea regarding what the actual historic Che Guevara did when he was alive.

Probably as much as anyone else not wearing his t-shirt to be honest. If people were more aware of Latin American history, there would be more people wearing Guevara t-shirts not less!

I mean, it reads like a sad joke. Do you think Palestinians are so inhumane that they haven’t learned how to protect women and children more effectively? You can’t on the one hand blame Palestinians for using women and children as human shields and then later act as if you’re some benevolent force doing a better job not killing women and children.

Apparently Hamas made the decision well over a decade ago that it doesn't care about protecting women and children. All things being equal how many Palestinian women and children that have been killed since October 7 (or for that matter since Israel dropped its first bomb in Gaza long before that) would still be alive today if Hamas had spent at least half the resources building bomb shelters for civilians in Gaza as it used constructing its 350-mile network of tunnels?

You make very good points, but I would ask what is your solution? What if anything should Biden do?

Human Costs | Costs of War

Far more of the people killed have been civilians. More than 432,000 civilians have been killed in the fighting since 2001.

I said once Hamas learns that their human shield strategy won’t work they will stop doing it. your unwitting support for their strategy only continues the results you say you wish to stop.

You do realize that the Gaza health ministry is Hamas…so you feel good about the accuracy of Hamas numbers ? I mean. They do have a somewhat vested interest in peddling propaganda considering it is literally their primary strategy since they started this conflict. You are gobbling it all up along with And you seem to be almost impulsive in your haste to copy and paste the Hamas figures.

    Gaza Health Ministry - Wikipedia

The Gaza Health Ministry (GHM) is responsible for managing healthcare and medical services in the Gaza Strip. It operates under the jurisdiction of the territory's Hamas government

Let's get some details on what you're asking of us. What will make the so-called "human shield strategy" not work? What is it you're asking?

Why do you think Hamas continues to do it counselor? Here’s part of the answer…. Because stories like the one of the ‘so called’ human shield kids bedroom linked below from a day ago will Never see the light of day on CNN and Hamas know that. CNN Is too busy putting on knee pads to quote the Gaza Health ministry… ahem. Hamas.

    Probably not.

Your unwitting support for Israel's strategy of killing excessive civilians only creates more terrorist sentiment and terrorists.....and continues the results you say you wish to stop.
