An Israeli air strike on a UN school packed with displaced Palestinians in central Gaza has reportedly killed at least 35 people. Local journalists told the BBC that a warplane fired two missiles at classrooms on the top floor of the school in the urban Nuseirat refugee camp. Videos showed the destruction and a number of bodies. Gaza war: Israeli strike on UN school kills reportedly kills 35
But they're right about to win this thing, and implement that awesome lasting peace plan that Netanyahu has clearly outlined. This permanent fix to the Mideast problem (at least in Gaza) will be well worth the tens of thousands of dead women, children and other civilians. Wait, what? There is no plan? All those women, children and civilians are being killed just to perpetuate the violence? Who could have EVER guessed THAT ?!!!!!!!
yeah, but they killed 3 bad guys. damn, bad intel on civilians, oops, meant aid workers, oops meant collaterals, sorry about that, lets go do it again......next.. who can defend this anymore?
Who could defend this in the first place. We can probably guess at the long term plan; have the United States pay to rebuild Gaza. Then do this again at some point in the future.
Think it might be wise to let the facts come out before believing anything the terrorists tell us. IF True than yes this was a major F up by Israel. But I will wait until we get more info. Israel is saying otherwise so it's probably best to use caution before calling out Israel here. But that won't stop some on here... Israel says deadly strike on Gaza school sheltering Palestinians targeted Hamas militants planning attacks Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Peter Lerner said the IDF had been monitoring the school and that 20-30 Hamas and affiliated militants were "operating in three different rooms to plan and launch terror attacks." "We have been following the activity there in the last few days and we postponed the strike twice to allow a precise attack and avoid hurting innocents," Lerner said, adding that he was "not aware of civilian casualties" and urging caution in accepting the figures suggested by officials in Gaza. He said the IDF was still "checking the numbers."
This is the piece those blindly bashing Israel seem to conveniently look past. You get invaded, innocent civilians raped and murdered, or kidnapped and in some cases tortured…of course they are going to respond. Their enemy, like the cowards that they are, hide among the civilian population so either Israel can’t do anything to engage them, or they end up with stuff like this. Hamas knows they win the PR war today despite completely precipitating it and putting those civilians at risk if it’s true. Israel could do better, but given what they are up against it’s surprising there haven’t been more of these. And no one ever seems to blame Hamas for using civilians as shields or PR crash dummies.
No need to hash it out again. Suffice it to say, there are better ways of implementing a plan just killing a lot of people than ways that result in 10s of thousands of kids, women and other civilians being wiped out.
I would say bombing people with complete air superiority as a means of revenge is a pretty cowardly act too, as well as blaming all the civilians for making you do it too.
They literally hid in a school full of kids. Only one party is to blame for that. I have said Israel could do better, but it’s an impossible fight, particularly if their allies refuse to acknowledge it.
First I doubt there were any fighters there (why anyone would believe the IDF is beyond me), and second, if there were, I would say the one party to blame for killing the kids are the people that dropped a bomb on them killing them. If its an impossible fight, why fight it? Especially if fighting it makes you stupid and murderous.
??? One party hides among kids. One (other) party bombs people hiding among kids. = "Only one party is to blame for that." ????
They went when their intel said it was safe. One party tried to mitigate damage to children, the other invited it. I truly don’t understand how people can draw an equivalency.
