I'm no military strategist, but Israel has bombed pretty much every civilian building there is to bomb in Gaza, and I wouldnt be like "well maybe I will camp out in this one that has yet to be bombed and not get bombed, because they definitely wont bomb it." Israel has shown they are ready to kill aid workers, their own hostages, tens of thousands of civilians, etc. But you think Hamas is out there like "we will totally get away with setting up shop in this school." If I were an insurgent, I would probably hide out in a place that I wont have fall on top of me if it takes a bomb, but that's just me, the idiot who knows nothing about military strategy. For instance, all those places Israel has supposedly cleared, but then has to go back to because Hamas isnt stupid lol.

You put ordinance where the enemy is, not where you wish they were.

We agree you are no strategist. You have the luxury of being flippant. Good for you.

Oh I forgot, you were in a fight once, so you understand how to win a war

    Interesting time to deflect.

Btw. It’s not your fault you don’t understand violence and its uses. You have been taught what you know and what you think you know. I wouldn’t expect you to understand.

Awesome news on the hostage rescue. I honestly assumed they were dead. Very happy to see that. The videos of reunions with their families are wonderful.

I did hear on the radio that one Israeli soldier was killed in the rescue operation.

Gaza (grain of salt) saying 200 people were killed. I’m really curious how they did it. This is the sort of thing that will make for a great film a decade from now.

While the number of probably exaggerated if Hamas didn't take the Israelis hostage in the first place all of those Palestinians would still be alive given that there wouldn't have been any need for the hostage rescue. Similarly if Hamas didn't violently resist the attempt to rescue the hostages there would have been far fewer causalities.

I didn’t mean to suggest it wasn’t justified. It just sounds like it was a fight. It will be cool to learn how it unfolded.

Reportedly, the hostages were held captive by regular people, not even Hamas military.
