Obviously just someone's opinion, but this is about where most have projected us for next season. Don't know where any additional players might come from at this point... maybe international.
I am just very unsure of Kellys recruiting strategy right now. Year before last she hit the transfers hard along with Cam but last few years not so much. Just looking for role players to me. But she is not bringing in enough girls to not hit the portal hard. Again their group is so tight lipped over there you never know what is really happening. We dont have enough guards on campus right now and it doesnt seem like we are doing anything about it. We only bring in one with this class, we have great talent coming in. But hell we will have a walk on on scholly again and no offense to Paige but that should not be the case here. Its not like we have not had injuries the last few years and have struggled with that and we didnt have enough to replace the injured players. Honestly almost every other program I could tap into someone and get information from them but this is not what I can do with this program. Ky just passed us by being super aggressive in the portal while we just basically have done 0
What concerns me is that we lose I think 6 of 11 players after this year without any possible transfers. No depth and no class balance.
Anyone hearing anything on recruiting? It's a bit alarming that we have ZERO commits right now. This has to be a big class.
not heard a thing except people saying it is going very well, but if you got nothing then there is nothing there.
They did a nice job last year on the HS recruiting front. Two kids any program in the country would want. Hunting whales takes longer. Portal can’t take you where too HS recruiting classes will. Can supplement but not primary source to turnaround a program.
So besides lack of information what is it about Kelly Rae you dont like? We have not had a losing season yet under her, Cam was a stain on the program that she has had to fight out of. She recruited like a champ last two cycles honestly. Lets see what you bring to the table besides these type of posts
