IMHO that CTW and staff are a class act and would not dare put this program in jeopardy. OU boards are just pulling chains on the internet!
Sabotaged on what and by who? Stanford is going to the ACC, not the B1G UF doesn't do anything every other school doesn't do, but you can rest assured there are things that occur behind closed doors regarding portal kids....in every sport
ACC or B1G = same difference plus the ACC could be breaking apart. The sabotage is starting Tim Walton retiring rumors at the WCWS and a reporter going public with the rumor of Canady to transfer to UF.
read above. it the poster who disclosed the canady rumor to name the reporter, not me. ask said poster as i have done. see post 1594.
I haven’t read any posts on Twitter about Canady entering the portal. Trust me if she it’ll be all over Twitter, Reddit and other articles.
Is it possible that a player of her caliber won't officially enter the portal until and unless she already has a destination and deal in place? @notexgator, to me, is about as reliable a source as there is on softball matters. He is one who is in the know.
Same difference?? Lol, so you believe the conferences are at the same level? Interesting take. Might have been better to just say you made a mistake than double down
Sure, it’s possible. That would mean that we’re doing the same things that people here complain about OU doing though. Also not real sure what deal she’d be negotiating as we’ve been told by the same “in the know” folks that our NIL money is an equal share deal, and she’s a pretty obvious take if she wants to be here. We have room on the roster. *you can enter the portal with a no contact tag, so you don’t get bombarded by every school in the country. Then you can reach out to the schools you’re interested in directly. This would be the proper way to begin “negotiations” with other schools.
Doesn't matter, if the rumor to UF is true, she doesn't want to go to either one. If it makes you feel a just little better, I made a mistake originally saying the B1G. Insofar as the ACC and the B1G are concerned, no, I don't see a softball distinction presuming the ACC doesn't self-destruct. You are more than welcome to present why you think the B1G will be better than the ACC in softball in 2025.
Lol, your premise suggested she wouldn't want to play in the B1G since it is a weaker softball conference. I pointed out she would be in the ACC, which is actually a pretty strong conference with half a dozen legit quality teams. If she stays at Stanford she would be in a quality softball conference....not as good as the SEC but what will now be the 2nd best conference. Don't be sour with me because you made a mistake then somehow defended it
Complete BS. Neither the B1G nor the ACC going into the 2025 season are in the same galaxy as the SEC. Insofar as conference strength of the ACC and BiG is concerned, I don't agree that the ACC will be the second-best conference. I expect it will be fairly even between these also ran conferences. You left out that I stated UF is the closest thing to Stanford in the SEC academically. Back off bucko as it is apparent you just want to argue.
And who exactly suggested anyone was as good as the SEC...I specifically stated they were not Feel free to believe what you want, performance would indicate the ACC is now 2nd best. It's debatable, but I'm not sure you even know who is in what conference based on your posts. And fyi....the board exists to discuss posts. I suggest you not post if you don't expect replies....bucko
I expect friendly replies, not your nit-picking jerk-style replies. Don't post? LOL!, like I care what you think to begin with. Just you are being your difficult to get along with self. Post why you think the ACC will be #2 in 2025 or don't, has nothing to do with the Canady rumor. Yes, 2025 #2 is debatable which is surprising you'd take a position on #2 knowing this. Again, just you are being your difficult to get along with self.
I'm done so no need for popcorn. Seems like this is our annual flare up over something not worthy of a flare up. (shaking head)
