Okay, just to thoroughly piss off the a certain contingent, how about this? The reason that the US has won 8 major championships (defined as Olympics and World Cups) since 1990 and Sweden has won zero is because of diversity (in every respect of that word). The US has the ability to produce a lot of different types of players and that helps to both find elite players at every position and depth that allows them to play different styles so they don't run into teams that can just beat them stylistically with a rock-paper-scissors situation.

BTW, as I type this, 16-year old Lily Yohannes, an Eritrean-American-Dutch player, just scored. She is still trying to decide which country she ultimately wants to represent (she is not a Dutch citizen yet, but isn't cap-tied as this is a friendly, and plans to get citizenship there as well). I wouldn't be surprised if Hayes tries to stick her on the Olympic roster, which would tie her to the US if she plays.

 

It doesn't matter if she scored, MAGA wants to know if she is good looking.

This is actually a rehash of trolling threads that came out 4 or 5 years age (Hence the age of photos and why they contain players that aren’t even on either team as of now). The funniest part of those old threads is when it came out that Sweden actually had more lesbians on their team than the U.S. did (twice as many). So the OP can be drooling and dreaming about those Swedish players all he wants but a lot of them have absolutely no interest in dudes so they won’t ever be returning the favor.
