Great season that exceeded expectations! Was trying to figure out where I'd rank Wallace. Sports are so crazy and fine line. But in the end, I think she's third best behind in the following order: Haegar Lorenz Wallace. Personally, I like Lorenz the best. So clutch and so good at the plate. Haegar is the double threat. So I get it. She deserves to be No. 1. Wallace is probably the most talented. But late in the game, Lorenz was the the better of the two. Wallace gets a hit with runners on first and third in the 6th, I may pick her. It's THAT close. That's how it works in sports
It's Amanda Lorenz, not Lorenzo or Lorenze. It's all subjective and any number of stats can be pulled out to support either of the 3. Personally, I would go with Haeger because she was a great hitter AND pitcher AND won a national title. I would also add Stacey Nelson to the list. She was Tim Walton's first big time national recruit and set the tone for many more to follow. Plus a dynamite pitcher.
Apologies. I've been drinking. I only had it misspelled once. The other was autocorrect. Lorenze was how I thought it was spelled. And LorenZ is the best player I've ever seen at UF. Bur agree that Haegar deserves being No. 1 given her accomplishments. But if you're asking me to pick a player, I pick LorenZ. Sure, Nelson is in the conversation. But I think the top three are the ones as mentioned

I agree, but one must include Stacey Nelson, Francesca Enea, Kelsey Stewart, Megan Bush, Michelle Moultrie (CTW’s first player project), Hannah Rodgers, and Kelly Barnhill in the conversation. All have been major contributors to the majority of the CTW era and this program.
