Again, what does that mean? How many others in the organization got raises/promos in the same time period? Were the others of the same magnitude? If it was nefarious, would they have been so public and done it through payroll?

I’m not saying that it isn’t true, I just rarely, if ever believe these “bombshell” reports that make claims that didn’t hold up to subsequent findings, and more often than not the “subsequent findings” was information that was available before the first report. Then we have to ask; Is the journalist, biased or just incompetent?

Sometimes, yes. But more often they lie, omit, and embellish. And the further they “lean” one way or the other in these so called biased ratings, the worse it is.

I asked you if all these things were true would it bother you. You said yes so I explained that they are all true and backed up. However, there is no text from Trump saying bribe everyone with favors, they just all "happened". Seems fishy to me but I am predisposed to think Trump is a crook from all the mountain of evidence he has left everywhere.

I know little about the discovery rules in criminal law, and they may be different state to state. But putting aside any 5th Amendment invocations by a witness and let's assume we're talking Florida law. Could a witness be subpoenaed for a deposition? Based on whatever podcast I was listening to, I assumed that wasn't an option with respect to Weisselberg under NY law, but they didn't say it as explicitly as I'm asking about it.

I know of no prohibition under Florida's state court rules that would prevent it.

    Nice try.

If I hadn’t lived through Reagan was a Dope, Bush 41 was out of touch, Bush 43 was a bigger dope then Reagan AND a a drug using alcoholic AND and illegitimate president then I might believe you and others that this is only about Trump.

The article doesn’t make them true. As of now they are allegations. They will become true when and if the whole story is investigated and these allegations are deemed improper.

Speaking of a mountain of evidence, have you had time to mine that mountain to figure how Biden got so rich on a Senator’s salary(currently $174K) and a VP salary(currently $224K)?

On the other hand, I do completely agree with you that you are definitely predisposed to thinking Trump is a crook!

You could have saved me a few posts and just responded truthfully when I asked you if you cared if they are true or not. You dont. I am fine with that.

The fascinating thing about Trump is how blatant he is about his corruption and crimes. Never subtle, never nuanced. Just flat out attempted bribery like with the oil execs.

Actually the problem with Fox News as well as other right-wing pro-Trump media outlets isn't with journalists it's with entertainers purporting to be journalists, Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Jesse Watters being prime examples.

Well, Tucker is now on Russian TV but your point is well taken.

I remember when the MAGAts here defended Tuckies and Tulsi G. that they weren't working for Putin. So silly.

Trump being someone who hands out money like candy, I'm sure everyone else was swimming in cash too.

LMAO rated factually High by one of the many left leaning media fact checking sites. The New York Times basically gets the same rating as ProPublica by the rating source you used and we all know how biased the Times is.

The Prosecution could have called him, but why would they? They did not need him as they had his “testimony” from his written documents. They read what needed to be read to the jury. The defense could have called him, the defense chose not to.

No, believe me, I see his warts and they are many. I just don’t magnify them by 1000X like the libs do.

The real thing issue you should concern yourself with is that even with his warts magnified 1000X, he’s still better than Biden by 1000X.

Well, we know now that they didn't need to call him. There was discussion about that at the time amongst those following the trial because my understanding is that Weisselberg might have corroborated some of Cohen's testimony which the defense team had sought to discredit on the basis that Cohen was a liar and had a personal vendetta against Trump. I didn't follow any of it close enough to have an opinion either way, but thought the contractual provision issue was interesting.

I'll sure be glad when this period in our history is over, and we can stop talking about Trump and get down to the business of addressing the country's and planet's major issues as adults.

LOL. Do you have any factual basis for implying its facts are incorrect? It's possible, you know, to accept the facts and simply dispute the article's implied conclusions. The facts in your many posts reveal someone who will defend any- and everything Trump does.
