The notion that women soccer players in America are harmed by their looks is belied by their relative dominance in terms of ratings and compensation. Second, if you only watch womens' sports when the women competing personally do it for you, maybe you're not the target audience. Finally, to the extent womens' looks should play a key role in who makes the team, the fact that you find Sophia Smith unattractive tells me you should be nowhere near the levers of power.
