2024 NCAA Regionals (Schedule, Scores, Discussions)

It's always a good thing when LSU loses. I tuned in just to watch the tiggers implode in the 9th and 10th innings last night. It was heavenly.

Four programs I cannot root for to win under any circumstances:

1. Georgia
2. Florida State
3. LSU
4. Miami

LSU has been on my list since the 2016 hurricane impacted football season.

I figured Peterson gets game 1, and he should. Who does Sully go to in game 2? I guess if it's an elimination game he goes Cags? There's a small part of me that wouldn't mind seeing Cade Fisher get the ball game 2. Call me crazy, but I liked what he brought this past weekend.

I see it more like Peterson is the only guy who might can give us 6 innings everyone else is just an opener and anything more than 3 innings is best case scenario. Cags has really looked more like 2023 cags on the mound the last half of the year. He's got a much better change up, but he's not locating pitches like he was earlier in the year.

 

You're not wrong. Cade Fisher has been too inconsistent to take that chance IMO.

Heard earlier today that LSU-UNC finals were the 2 most watched regional games ever.

Most people across the country rooting against LSU, the entire state of Louisiana rooting for LSU, all of them not really caring who the powder blue team was.

For sure, as much as we've gotten I've wondered why we haven't been able to do more with Florida kids who originally go out of state as long as they could get in state tuition here. That also implies they can't get beneficial tuition out of state after 1 year, no idea about that stuff.

 

looks pretty likely that we will have just SEC and ACC schools in the college world series.

Three ACC teams are waiting on Tennesee (unless they choke) in one bracket
Three SEC teams are up 1-0 in the other bracket (including Florida while NC State is up on Georgia 1-0.
