Hunter Biden trial begins

Still waiting for whining about it being a witch hunt and that the Trump appointed judge presiding over the case is somehow unfit or corrupt. Crickets......

 

Hmmmm, if only he had a good connection down at the Biden Justice Department who could make this political witch hunt disappear. Maybe he should call Henry Cuellar or Bob Menendez to see how they did it. Oh, wait…..

 

I expect Bragg and Willis to intervene at any time to save the day …

I don't really care about the Biden family either way, but based on the fact he is on trial, I would guess that is wrong.

 

This makes everything both sides in every way. No use getting into the underlying facts in any way. That’s a mark of being fair and nonpartisan

 

It's interesting that the judge disallowed the defense from introducing the second ATF Form 4473, the one that was altered by employees of the gun shop. At least the issue is properly preserved for appeal if there is a need.

Who is the victim in this crime???? Totally victimless crime being charged by a Trump appointed special prosecutor goon which would have been resolved but a Trump appointed judge didn’t like a pound of flesh from Hunter and instead wanted to behead him in the public square. This is the most unjustified injustice of the American system of right wing deep state lawfare i have ever seen.

If they can do this to an American citizen they can do this to us. If this guy is convicted it will be because of the corrupt legal system infested by right wing deep state judges and prosecutors. If Kagan doesn’t fly an upside down flag of the seal of the justice system she is a total weenie.

And why didn’t they move the venue to a more friendly forum?!?!?!

And … nobody has ever been prosecuted for his before.

And this is totally getting reversed on appeal.

The crime is being the President’s son. Charged by a prosecutor that wants a career in politics overseen by a judge who wants to honor a maga appointment.

 

If they can do this to Hunter, then they can do it to the rest of us gun-toting crackheads

I don't understand why this guy pleaded not guilty in the first place. They say how personal and humiliating this trial is going to be. Explicit photos of Hunter, etc., with his family sitting there. As best I understand it, his defense is simply that he was so addicted he didn't know what he was doing when he lied about being addicted, in order to buy a gun (if he even knew he was buying it). Well, I've always heard that ignorance of the law is no excuse, but maybe it is. I'm not a lawyer.

Incidentally, with a glance at the closed captions on CNN about the start of the trial, I saw the word "uterus" but didn't catch the context. Is someone's uterus involved? I doubt that the explicit photos of Hunter would include a uterus, but I'm not an anatomist.

 

Imprisoning the son of your political opponent is exactly what Stalin or Mussolini would do. Trump is involved in this up to his neck. I bet the same Trump team that is running the military and has been since Biden was installed as President arranged this charge to escalate like it did.

 

Defense will be that just prior to this he completed an 11 day rehab program and was living with a non-user and didn’t believe him to be an addict. At least I thought I read that somewhere.

 

Hunters signature was perfect! It was a perfect signature.
