Thanks, Ursidman, for taking the reins from Gatorgal the Great. You did a wonderful service for the board. I couldn't bring myself to watch the bottom of the 9th, so I relied on the game thread, figuring that a heartbreaking loss would be easier to take among friends. I was halfway expecting a collapse. But the Gators pulled it out in grand fashion! What a regional win!!

 

Also, we need to give @Gatorgal04 a raise

I started to forget what good pitching looked like. It looks really nice.

 

I think they’re the #6 National Seed. They beat Coastal Carolina for their Regional Championship.

Clemson is a good team but beatable

 

Bullpen has been lights out (for the most part)

 

Even the 1927 Yankees were not undefeated.

 

Ok st hitters reminded me of the Gators regular season the last 2 games ,skying a lot of pretty fly ball outs with a bunch of Ks filtered in.

That said, Carson Benge is a hell of an athlete and great college player.

 

Need a good outing from Jac on the mound....IMO the bigger task for this staff was winning a regional vs a super, surviving 5 games bodes well for the future

 

So this team is worth watching now?

 

Neely was incredible.

And throwing 104 pitches maybe he can be a starter but I LOVE his fire out of the pen.
