There are some remaining UF fans that have experience in that area, so if that happens I guess we'll just have to 'wait til next year.'

A buddy of mine (FSU fan) is 100% iron clad convinced that they will be in the Big 10 soon, maybe as soon as 2025. I don't see it and haven't heard any rumblings but he and his FSU faithful are certain of it.
If memory serves me correctly, the FSU faithful were certain Bob Stoops was coming to Tallacrappie after Willie Taggert was fired.
When I was at UF in 1990, when the SEC would not recognize our championship for things that had nothing to do with that team or staff and people were really upset. But when we finally won it in 1991 it was madness, and then we kept winning them. Some of the best times ever.
I just can't believe that The B10 will waive the AAU criteria for FSU and Clemson. Not when UNC and Virginia, who are AAU members, will be available when the ACC breaks up.
The AAU may be corrupt but it will take a sinking to a level they have never been to accept these two clown schools. Besides the BIG 10 will have to waive admission to get them in. Can't see that happening. But crazier things have taken place.
For FSU to move to the B1G next year that deal probably needs to be worked out this summer. And while maybe FSU eventually gets a semi-favorable settlement to leave the ACC, that'll take some time and isn't going to happen in the next 3 months.

True, how long did it take for tx and OU to join the SEC after the announcements? 2 seasons? The more expedient spot for them to get into if they want out of the ACC is to go to the Big 12. But try telling them that.
