Hey 74 - I ain't no baseball guy but it seems to me that if Sully pulls off a "w" and a trip to the super regional, I'm filing the year away as very successful. Yesterday was a real thrill watching the men (2) and women (1) score big wins. Obviously uphill for both clubs going forward, but yesterday gives both squads a chance and thats about all one may ask for IMO.
I wa trying to remember the shut off point for playing....is it today or tomorrow? I'm sure they get the game in, but think OSU would be gifted the regional if weather prevented a game since they are the higher seed and everything else is equal (1-1 head to head)
Whatever happens today, you can't accuse these guys of phoning it in for an early vacation. I appreciate the effort and want-to this weekend.
It probably took their ground crew all night to get all of the drag marks up off of the mound and first base line that Brandon Neely left out there last night.
That's who would have been my guess with plenty of reservations. Of course I would have had reservations with anyone we could go with. Ut oh, I think Wing is starting to rub off on me. I feel so dirty. LOL
