Figured Arky could have issues due to their bats not when he's on the mound. I think the message is that while the SEC is the best conference it is not a massive gap and the domino effect of more kids going to college provides a lot of opportunities for non-traditional powers.

 

Kansas State beats Arkansas 7-6 and UCONN beat #8 Oklahoma 4-1. Oregon beat #13 Santa Barbara 3-1.

 

James Madison has knocked out South Carolina 2-0 in an elimination game. That's 3 of the 11 SEC teams gone without reaching the regional finals. Arkansas on the ropes as well.

 

One of the TV guys predicted 6 SEC teams in Omaha. We may not have that many make Super Regionals.

 

Arkansas looking like they're about to get bounced. That would be a massive underachievement for them.

Yep, as the 5 seed. Usually they wait for Omaha or at least supers before collapsing. Down 6-1 in the 9th to SEMO.

Clemson advances to the Supers. Texas A&M 1 inning away from winning their regional and West Virginia has a 6 run lead in the 5th in trying to sweep the Tucson regional.

 

I'm surprised to see Clemson hasn't been to a Super since 2010.

 

Transfer portal is one hell of a neutralizer, especially in a sport like baseball…
