Man this umps zone.

 

Much better outing than I expected from Cade Fisher.

 

Smart though.

 

To me this HP Blue has had a somewhat different strike zone every inning tonight.

 

Kept feeling like we let them hang around to much and we have done that this year when we pitch well we don’t hit and then all a sudden it gets blown open by the other team not us.

 

Tough for Fisher. Should have been out of the inning.

We wasted McNeillie by putting him in such a high pressure situation as a freshman. Should have gone straight to Neely and saved McNeillie for starting a clean inning without inheriting runners.

 

Everyone does it. I’m equally puzzled.

I get high leverage situations and all that, but how the heck do you expect to get through this game burning McNellie on one hitter?
