His clips are excellent. I hope he's a high character guy. We've been blessed with guys like Lagway, Mertz, Kyle, Danny and Tebow

He definitely does not look a year older than my daughter who turns 15 in Sept. Will looks like he's on his 2nd marriage and already had a home foreclosure. And did I mention he looks like he stole Tebows arms?

I hope CBN is retained past this year regardless of this season, barring a total team meltdown and player coup. The quality of the players he's bringing in, and especially at key, cornerstone positions like QB, you can tell he has a plan while addressing particular positions in each cycle.

Not counting his very 1st class that he only had a few weeks to first dismantle and then restock before the ESD, his last two classes have been on point wrt positions of need.

'23 class we needed DL, WR and DB's most. We took 8 DL , 4 WR, and 7 DB'S. Also signed 8 OL (4 OL and got another 4 in the portal)

'24. This year, he hit at all postions, but LB (3), OL(8) , and DB's (7) IMO were what stood out aside from the obvious 2 of Lagway and Mccray Looking at this year's class, we legitimately got better at every position.

Man, I can't wait to get on that field

His Youtube highlight video looked great. 100% on completions and either scored a touchdown or made a big play on every snap!

Candy, does Tampa Catholic run a similar offense to ours?

Maybe we should be running Tampa Jesuit's offense. I know it's a highlight reel so I'll take it with a grain of salt. But what I do see is his ability to get rid of the ball and put it accurately in a place where his receivers can make the catch. It didn't look like he was forcing anything.

It's high school Wanne, and he is young.

Kid looks like a college star to me.

This is a big deal. I know a little something about Will. I will be surprised if he is not the top QB in his class. He is that good. He is a high character guy to boot. Great family. As pointed out, his father is a huge Gator fan and Will has been going to Gator games his entire life. Every top school wanted to sign him. Getting Will is up there with getting Tebow and E. Smith, IMO. If we get the supporting cast for him, he's going to have us competing for a nat'l title in his time here. I can't wait.

Recruiting is only half the battle. It's important and fun for us fans when we are successful. On the football side after recruiting there is training, development, preparation, game management, and winning games. It does not matter if we get the #1 class in consecutive years if a staff inexplicably cannot win games. Is 5 wins a team meltdown? At what point would you say it's just not going to work out? That said, it does us no good to part ways with Napier if our AD does not have a really good replacement that can not just recruit but win a lot of ball games.

Hes proven he can coach and win when all things equal as he did at Louisiana. The team CBN took over was coming off of a losing season and following g up 3 straight failed coaching hires. With the level of quality talent he is recruiting (best player ratings since 2010 class) it's only a matter of time before he makes "all things equal" after this complete rebuild to where he will start winning football games.

He was 100% honest with us from the start. He said this turnaround may be slower than many would like but he has a plan to execute. He never lied and said we will be to that level with in 2 seasons.

Had Smart taken over a losing UGA team who had played musical chairs with their coaches for the previous 12 years instead of a team that had won 10 or more games in 4 of the 5 seasons prior to smart taking over (10 wins the season prior) his1st 2 seasons would not have looked as good.

If Lagways class are juniors and we are still not competing, I’d say we’ve seen enough. I want to see these last two classes grow up to their potential before I jump to conclusions.
