I'm a pre-Boomer, I'll have you know, but your point is well taken.

Look for yourself. These are the Florida standards for K-12. Other states are similar and posted.

    Search Standards | CPALMS.org

Now, I’m gonna give you a little hint. Just because these standards were taught doesn’t mean that they were completely understood/remembered.

I think this is likely a misattribution of cause. If the boomers were the first generation to leave less to their progeny, this is most likely just due to the luck of timing. Growth simply cannot sustain forever, as evidenced by the slowed growth of all mature industrialized nations. If growth kept up for the boomers, it would have been Gen X that would have been the first to leave less. If not them, the millennials. Etc. It was coming regardless.

At this point, I think there is little value to looking back to the pre-boomer period as any kind of a model for our current or future lives. Those days are gone.

Curious how are you measuring what’s left to their progeny than they were given?

Copy of the maga email requesting donations…..

“WE CAN’T HAVE THAT! WE CAN’T — AND WITH YOUR HELP, WE WON’T! Donald Trump is not just anybody! He’s supposed to be one of those the system protects but does not bind! But the system is saying that if he was suspected of breaking the law, he needed to be put on trial, and because he was found guilty, he should face consequences — AS THOUGH THEY DON’T KNOW WHO HE IS AND THE LAW DOESN’T CARE?

PLEASE SUPPORT DONALD TRUMP! ANY LITTLE BIT HELPS TOWARD OUR GOAL OF FREEING THIS NATION FROM THE IRON THUMB OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM! OUR ONE NATION SHOULD BE UNDER GOD (TRUMP’S BIGGEST FAN) AND THAT’S IT! DONALD TRUMP WAS NOT ELECTED PRESIDENT (TWICE, IF HE IS READING THIS) TO BE UNDER THE “LAW” LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE.“

Same here. But he sure as shit didn’t do a fraction of the parenting that I do with my children. Boomer dads more or less left it all up to mom.

You mean Trump might return the favor ?

I somehow doubt it. It’s not like he drained the swamp the first time around.

The actual email I got from President Trump himself:

BREAKING FROM TRUMP: JUSTICE IS DEAD IN AMERICA!

I was just convicted in a RIGGED TRIAL meant to interfere in our elections.

Their sick & twisted goal is simple: Pervert the justice system against me so much, that proud supporters like YOU will SPIT when you hear my name.

BUT THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! [charname]- NOW IT’S TIME FOR ME & YOU TO SHOVE IT BACK IN THEIR CORRUPT FACES!

Today is a DARK DAY in history, but your response right now will shine brighter than the 1,000 suns.

My end-of-month fundraising deadline is just days away. Before the day is over, I’m calling on TEN MILLION pro-Trump patriots to chip in and say, “I STAND WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP!” >

And then I got this one from the Trump National Committee (sent from an RNC email address):

President Trump was just CONVICTED in a RIGGED TRIAL- despite not committing any crimes!

The Radical Democrats want to SILENCE and STOP President Trump, but HE WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING FOR YOU!

Now is your chance to show you still fight for him.

    ...

If you want to see President Trump absolutely HUMILIATE Crooked Joe Biden, NOW is the time to chip in.

We can’t reach our EXTENDED End-of-Month Goal without support from Patriots like YOU!

Stand with President Trump against his RIGGED CONVICTION before our goal ends NOW. >>

    MAGA Math:

    1. I was indicted by an independent grand jury +

    2. I was convicted by a unanimous vote of 12 independent jurors =

    3. It was a rigged trial.

Probably a case by case basis don’t you think. I was very involved with the rearing of my kids in a way my father never was with his.

depends on the source… articles have suggested Gen X spends twice as much as Boomer. Millennials are apparently three times more than Boomer and Gen X.

what is missing is quality of the time. I think we all would agree volume doesn’t necessary eclipse quality.

maybe men spending too much time nurturing versus doing is part of the problem?

So, 12 jurors who heard and decided beyond a reasonable doubt that Trump committed 34 felonies are going to pay? Or is it the NY DA that has hell to pay? Is that really the way the judiciary works in your vision of our country?

Was it a ridiculous political move when the doj under djt prosecuted and imprisoned Cohen for the same crimes?

Born in 64 so I'm the last of the boomers. The sperm donor that married and impregnated my mom was a worthless pos. I've raised 3 kids and bypassed multiple prosperous opportunities to be there for them every step along the way and now take kids fishing as part of a big brother group. Take your generalization and shove it

    But back to revenge:

Clay Travis: “We’re in a real war. Legal warfare is afoot and it’s time to return fire.”

Jesse Watters predicts “there will be a revolution” if Donald Trump receives jail time

Jack Posobiec endorses “reciprocity” after Trump's 34 guilty verdicts: “Get the message across by any means necessary”

MAGA figure Mike Davis fantasizes about a Trump DOJ prosecuting Biden, Garland, and legal figures in Trump's trials: “There is absolutely gonna be retribution”

    It is all cognitive dissonance.

You made us feel bad by proving a case to a jury and then having them not come to the verdict that would make me feel better. Therefore, we should get to feel better by pretending it is rigged and using that to justify retaliating against the people who made us feel bad in the first place.
