If it happens it’s because the military is orchestrating it, to wake people up. We’ve been a captured Republic since the Organic Act of 1871, with President Grant selling us out to bankers and their Central Bank. Our Constitution was changed from The United States For America to The United States Of America. Look up The Creature From Jekyll Island. We’ve been lied to in a terrible way.

I wonder if Alito is flying his upside down flag at half mast since the verdict came in.

seriously disappointed in Collins if that is her take on the trial. I always thought she was above that

I'm curious for the lawyers to answer, when a defendant is convicted of 34 felonies, while also waiting trial for 54 more charges committed across the country (most of them also felonies, IIRC), can that be considered in the sentencing? I mean, would it normally be considered in the sentencing?

Here's a pretty decent explanation (imo) from a lawyer and legal analyst. There's more tweets in the thread as well.

that would take a lot, where does the power and money come from to implement that?

Collins has a long history of getting moderates' hopes up just to smash them when it really comes down to the difficult choices. She talks a good game but with virtually zero deviation from the GOP platform. Now that the platform is "whatever the orange idol wants," you'll get tripe like this from her.

It's surprising Dear Leader seems to hold-up well under all this. He's 77.

"To other people’s point about the way he looked in court, I mean, his health, you know — this is going to put a strain on his health, and I hate to say that,"

Former Trump executive: Guilty verdict will ‘put a strain’ on former president’s health (thehill.com)

But maybe its what keeps him going....

"Narcissists thrive in chaotic conditions. Disarray gives them an opening to step up and take control while others look around in confusion. Narcissists have the ability to thrive because upheaval allows them to focus on themselves and move toward the goals they want, whether that’s leadership, status or materialistic desires. They don’t care so much about the system going down and common resources collapsing, and they aren’t that concerned with the problems of others either."

I suppose it can be if people are guilty unless proven innocent.

Party line. Given the stream of statements from Pubs who basically wrote the same thing, it’s clear it’s a dictate from the RNC (and thus Trump himself)

I can see house arrest, doubt he puts him behind bars unless for a very short period of time.

Haven't been reading this thread and don't plan on trying to, I just thought I'd stop by for a quick check in

I assume everyone sees this one eye to eye and we are moving on as a healed community?

    Great to hear!

I'll be in a AGW thread or the Ukraine thread or NBN if you need me.

Got my fingers crossed with you on that, or the unicorn known as a principled Republican who beats her in a primary, but more likely she keeps that seat until she dies.

I have heard from a very reliable source that Trump will be exiled to the island of Elba.
