You know very well that the GOP held all the mass superspreader events humanly possible. They did it proudly to own the libs. And the media never does anything to hold them accountable - why would they think a meeting to make a platform would suddenly break with tradition? :D

You might recall that Trump literally killed Herman Cain in one of these lib-owning superspreader events.

One small correction. They had one when he took office in 2016. Not when he ran for reelection in 2020.

Well that’s another untruth, I believe.

You can’t possibly say that you don’t know the difference between telling one lie, and being a habitual liar.

Drinking one beer does not an alcoholic make.

You either told one lie or misspoke, but you are not a habitual liar. As far as I’ve observed, which is all I can speak to.

Here is a source that I found to be pretty unbiased that cites a lot of sources.

    The Republican Party Platform, 2020

It is the original source where I got my 3000+ number from, but I see switched the digits around. It was 2500 people originally, which for all intents and purposes is still a superspreader event if you gather that many people in one location. It was then downsized to 336.

This is at a time where the RNC had a lot of internal divisions within the party. Some people calling people RINOS. Other people calling other people MAGAs. It is not surprising that with these rifts no one wanted a small group of 336 writing a new party platform.

I find the DNC writing a platform in 2020 to be an incredibly weak argument as to why the RNC not getting it done in 2020 automatically means Trump is the end all be all explanation for this. You are mistaken if you think the DNC is the model party that defines what an ideal party should look like. This is the party that colluded to keep Burney Sanders, the most popular candidate among their voting base, from winning the nomination for their party. That is a party that walked lock step with dear leader to spite their voting base. The Republican Party at least lets the voters decide. Trump won the nomination fair and square every time. There was not this forced subversion of the will of the people like you see in the DNC. They are corrupt, and they play favorites too.

As a followup for right wingers:

When are you going to have enough of Fox News and NewsMax lying to you?

One of the reasons that Louisianagator and 92gator and the others are sooo angry today is that they were lied to for months and months that this day would never happen. They always get their hopes up sky high for things that will never happen and they never get wise to Lucy pulling the ball out from under them.

Doesn’t this get exhausting? When do the wrong assurances and claims become too many?

This is false. The executive committee of the Republican Party voted to adopt the 2016 platform as the 2020 platform.

And then the RNC rejected that and issued a 1 page document about supporting Trump and opposing Biden instead of putting out a platform using essentially the same excuses that you offered.

Nope. That is false. They voted not to amend the 2016 platform. So, the 2016 platform is the current RNC platform.

So voting for Biden makes you not a Biden voter. Hey but you can't argue with PD. He is right about everything!

GOP Will Not Write a 2020 Platform, Pledges Undying Trump Support Instead

Modern presidential conventions are inherently propagandistic affairs, usually devoted to a mix of glitzy patches for the presidential nominee, the vice-president, and the party as a whole. The 2020 Republican National Convention has altered the traditional emphasis, which is now devoted almost entirely to glorifying its presidential nominee. President Trump will speak on all four nights of the convention, rather than just one. Half the featured speakers are members of his family

And perhaps most remarkably of all, the party has announced it will forego a platform altogether. In lieu of a document attempting to define the party’s beliefs and priorities, the RNC simply states that it agrees with everything Trump has done and will do

The official excuse is that the coronavirus has made it impossible for the party to get together and write up a platform: “The Republican National Committee (RNC) has significantly scaled back the size and scope of the 2020 Republican National Convention in Charlotte due to strict restrictions on gatherings and meetings, and out of concern for the safety of convention attendees and our hosts.” Yet somehow the Democrats managed to come up with a platform without killing anybody.

    ...

But his abuses of power and contempt for the basic requirements of his job have become matters for his party first to ignore, and then to celebrate. The GOP has been subsumed into the twisted personality of a single man in a way no modern American party ever has. The official disregard of any platform — save whatever Trump says — is the most perfectly fitting encapsulation of the GOP in 2020.

Its a secret ballot, how does anyone know who he voted for? I guess you could say "he said so" but he's also said OJ was innocent and has made a living lying for the guiltiest people alive lol.

When Pavlov studied behavioral conditioning in dogs, did the dogs ever stop drooling at the presentation of red meat?

    There’s your answer.

You’re quoting this guy? An Alex Jones guest on the topic of the 2,000 Mules video claiming it proved the election was stolen? Your posts could not be more of a joke if you tried.

Did Dershowitz come out and say how the democrats got a jury to go along with “corruption”? Are we to believe citizen juries are the arms of political parties? How does it all connect? What do we do now, never have juries?

A habitual liar is a type of liar. Not the only type.
When you say someone is intentionally lying, you are calling them a liar, though maybe not a habitual one. Ine can be a liar without being a habitual one.

Using the beer reference, I live a great craft beer, but i dont drink habitually. I am still a drinker.

I appreciate your response in that you dont consider me a habitual liar, but perhaps rethinking the word completely is in order.
