That's right - as a resident of the free state of Florida, a felon cannot vote. I wonder if that applies to. cases on appeal as this one most certainly will be.

not really. all the evidence showed he was guilty, jury, unlike the Senate, took their oath seriously

not unless he goes to jail. Florida defers to state of trial. NY only revokes right to vote while felon is in jail

It never should have come anything close to this. We knew who this buffoon was in 2016 and people still voted for him, or when he used his power to stop an investigation against him in the WH and the spineless self serving pubs let him off, or when he tried to overturn an election and somehow kept and even expanded his power within the party, or when he had four separate indictments against him and still lost zero support.
He should have been a footnote in history years ago, now it took a jury in a blue state to convict him, and this will only be seen as further persecution.
Hope this stands up to appeal because any form of justice against this dangerous democracy destroying con man is a good thing. Just wish it had been somewhere other than this case, it’s the least clear to the public.

This will easily be overturned on appeal and even the libs know that. Might be a while but it will not hold up. But this is all they wanted anyway is to be able to call him a felon during the campaign. Careful what you wish for......

The election is now rigged because they won't allow him to vote. Only if he loses of course

Hmmm....can you provide your legal argument for why it will be overturned on appeal? Please cite the relevant case law. Thank you in advance.

Is this coming from the same group of people that said that he would be found innocent initially?

I’m curious why you think this lengthy trial, with a juror on the Panel who gets his news exclusively from Trump’s Truth Social, will “easily be overturned.”

This is about as empty as Trump's dialog after the verdict. The clothes are off.

The rule of law has been vindicated.
34 guilty on all counts within a day almost guarantees an affirmance on appeal. Only an unscrupulous partisan hack would say otherwise.

They will appeal on a judicial mistake, not on actual evidence. The way of the rich

Not sure who those people are. I never thought he would be found innocent. Figured hung jury or overturned on appeal mostly due to the conduct of the judge.

Send him to jail then. We know he's been guilty of a lot more than he's stood trial for.
