Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! Earlier this year my middle was blessed with the Honor and Privilege to Lay the Wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. I cannot express how much this meant! Thank You to All who have given their Life for this Great Nation!
You will forget it when you step in the voting booth this next Election Day and pull the presidential lever for a man who has never served, has no immediate family that has ever served and belittles those that died serving this country.
Nice reply... You couldn't help it, you had to bring Trump into this. Sometimes it's best to just keep your thoughts to yourself.
I disagree. I think we can never ignore some people's tolerance of a vile criminal traitor who not only repeatedly denigrated our soldiers and their commanders, but both encouraged an attack on our government and accepted help in an election from Russia. Those are all actual FACTS. So IMO people who are comfortable supporting those vile un-American transgressions should at a minimum keep their pseudo-patriotism to themselves. Then they can avoid uncomfortable replies.
What does this have to do with the original post? I viewed the post strictly as a Memorial Day post, where a fellow poster shared his experience at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Seriously, am I missing something?
What a sad and shallow post. Knowing that a majority of those who have served this country voted for Trump in a Presidential Election in both 2016 and 2020. There will be service men and women laying at rest in Arlington that voted for Trump. There will be service men and women laying at rest in Arlington that voted for Biden. You have every right to be a jerk. But know it speaks about you. That said...those whom my daughter was able to honor in the wreath laying ceremony fought and died so you could be so shallow and show your colors. Sometimes it is best to just hold in your misery rather than throw a tantrum like a three year old. But you are definitely free to throw your childlike tantrum as those we honored yesterday fought for your right to do so. A little reminder for the future though. Shallow posts like this speak to ones character. Especially when they are a grown adult acting like a child.
This SA reply is off-topic. I have read your posts in the past about Trump, and I agree with you on many of them. I, however, don't see how your original reply had anything to do with the intent of the original post, especially on Memorial Day. How about we agree to disagree.
Your boy Trump shitted on Memorial Day even worse with his disgusting post. I dare you to acknowledge that. You’re gutless when it comes to him, so we know you won’t lol
First, he's not my boy. I agree with you. I still believe the original post could have been discussed without bringing Trump into it. Can you acknowledge that?
It is not worth the fight. Let them show their character. Those who were honored in the OP fought so people can be freely show their character. The people honored in the OP voted for both Trump and Biden. You are spot on in your push back though!
If you had put this in the main Memorial Day thread where it belongs, you could have avoided that stuff.
