The announcers didn't even mention Golez's base running error when she didn't tag and go to third on the bases loaded, deep fly to center with no outs.
That cost us another run and went unmentioned.

I will likely use this tactic in the future. It worked!

Now we face our good old friend Kenny (who I still miss) in game one of the WCWS. Talk about two coaches who know each other lol.

Sounds like my BIL, gets one every 2 years I think. :eek:Family history. On the other hand, my MIL was told she did not need one after 75, no history and now in her mid 80s has cancer.

Yep, the prep sucks, but my doc says cologuard is not reliable anyway, too many false positives. Good luck to all.
    Off topic, I know. :)

Actually I thought the announcers were cheerleaders for both teams., rarely mentioning any negatives either way. My only issue was they talked toooo much. :)l

Yeah, I didn't get the feeling they were playing favorites. I just thought they were amateurish. And whoever the guy was of the two, doesn't know the game. Was saying all kinds of whack shite in all three games.

It is getting to the point where I have to mute every game and go to radio. I can still handle Scarborough and Brown although both need to brush up on the rules of the game. Lawrie is OK. Madison Shipman I can live with. That's about it. Even in non-Gator games I just go to one of the team's radio feeds. And, of course, throughout the WCWS we will be subjected to brain and ear shattering B.S. from Mowins.

I was high risk after my first colonoscopy because several polyps removed and family history. I had colonoscopy every two years after that for 6 years then, finally, the polyps didn’t reappear. I am still a candidate for a colonoscopy but I am 79 and I have had two friends suffer a punctured intestine during a colonoscopy at my age and I have reservations about undergoing the procedure again (I have had 4). My primary care physician acknowledged that at my age our skin/membranes are very thin in most of us so I have opted to watch my diet, keep an eye on my excrements and defer another colonoscopy until I see red flags.
BTW, Dr Moleno at North Florida Regional is an amazing doctor who performed my last three colonoscopys.

Aliyah Binford left the visitor's dugout long after all her teammates -- maybe a half hour or more. Still crying uncontrollably. The classy Gator fans who were still present shouted encouragement to her, which she acknowledged. Still, heartbreak of defeat, for sure.

Loudest crowd in a *long* time, but I think I figured out the psyche. KSP is very loud when we are winning and comfortable. The volume went way down after the "leaving early" play where we lost a run and then couldn't capitalize with bases loaded with one out.

I had a co-worker who didn't get them and ended up having half her intestines removed and being on a colostomy bag in her 60's. And one of my closest friends died last summer of colo-rectal cancer at 63. He was an X-ray tech in a hospital and never got a colonoscopy or even the Colorguard thing. I will NEVER skip mine.

I just thought I'd drop in to read the last 3 pages of this thread. The Gators just won the Gainesville Super Regional and are on their way back to the WCWS. Butt man this thread sure has gotten off track and then some. Go Gators, I guess...

Did anyone else notice CTW not shaking last night's home plate umpire's hand both when the umpire meeting started today and when it ended? Assuming we saw that right, what's up with that?

My PCP gave me directions for Gatorade and Miralax.
Much, much better taste and is effective.

I'm not sure I have seen so many batters on one team that far up in the box. I would think being that little bit closer to the pitcher would make swinging on the rise ball more frequent but it didn't seem like they chased her rise ball that much. I also didn't notice any time outs with Dobbins, walton took all of them today right?

Wow....mizzou pulls rings after she hangs one ball over the plate. She probably could have gotten out of that inning with 1 run...bad coaching move imo

It was as if the female announcer had a list of 30-40 sports cliches, and her sole mission was to work each and every one into the game somehow. Felt like she was trying way too hard, completely unnatural and zero flow.
