Expected: 3,500 Estimated: 8,000 to 10,000 Trump Campaign: 25,000 It doesn't matter if only the numbers estimated showed up. The rally got tons of publicity thanks to news outlets of all stripes that don't normally cover Trump's rallies closely. The Bronx rally and more to come have put New York in play. I'd like to see Joe Biden go to the Bronx for a political rally. I won't be holding my breath that he can do anything like Trump does on a regular basis. Anybody surprised the Trump campaign would say 25,000 has to ask themselves why. Trump is well known to trend to exaggeration. Please don't ask him how big his private part he used with Stormy Daniels is as he'd likely tell you he could have been a porn star, even bigger.
Your deranged hero once said that his father, Fred, was born in a beautiful city in Germany. Fred was born in the Bronx. Thus, my post,
Ah I see we're back to thinking rally size is a predictor of who will win the election. How'd that work out last time? When's the next boat parade? How many bumper stickers do we see? You wouldn't catch me at a Biden rally but I'll still be voting for him. Cause it's not a weird cult.
Absolutely no one is surprised or asking why the campaign would lie about the crowd size - that's all they've ever done. "The most attended inauguration in history. Period." This isn't a "Biden would have more people" comment. Just pointing out that they lie over and over despite there being undeniable evidence to the contrary. Yet his followers still fall in line to make excuses and try to back up the very clearly false claims.
I’ll probably get around to watching it sometime this weekend. Since you watched it should my drinking game be - every time he slurs, every time he refers to the wrong person, or everytime he freezes?
i think Biden could ramble incoherently about things that never happened for an hour and a half no problem. I prefer 30 minute coherent policy outlining speeches though which is what we get from Joe except on special occasions like the SOTU when we get an hour and a half of policy speech.
biden - i faced 9% inflation when i came into office x2 plus being an habitual liar. biden supporters seem to be under a satanic spell.
I'm not a cultist who needs to defend everything he says or does. He hasn't tried to end our democracy so that's enough for me for this election.
Yeah, we kinda hear the same shit every election cycle. Pubs going to take over blue states and dems have lost the black vote...still believe if he was thought to have any real chance at all, he'd be dead by now.
Yeah, but that goes both ways, too. How many election cycles now since Texas was going to go blue? It’s a little like sports, the media has to make it seem more competitive than it is to keep the crowd tuned in.
There is a new poll out for New York after the Trump Bronx rally that shows the after rally change: New York 2024 Poll: Biden 48%, Trump 41% - Emerson Polling (emersoncollegepolling.com) Majority of Voters Expect Jury to Find Trump Guilty on Some or All Counts A new Emerson College Polling/The Hill/PIX11 survey of New York voters finds President Joe Biden with 48% support in the 2024 presidential election, while 41% support former President Donald Trump; 12% are undecided. When undecided voters are asked which candidate they lean toward, Biden’s lead increases to 10 points, 55% to 45%. With third-party candidates on the ballot, 44% support Biden, 38% Trump, 6% support Robert Kennedy Jr., 2% Cornel West, and 1% Jill Stein; 11% are undecided. In the New York Times/Sienna College Poll, the 5-candidate ballot had Biden at +9. The Emerson College Poll conducted after the Bronx rally has Biden at +6 on the 5-candidate ballot, a drop of 3%. Biden won New York by +23 in the 2020 election. It will be interesting to see the state of New York polls after Trump's Soviet-style Kangaroo Court conviction.
23% down to 6% is the big deal. Independents and Undecideds will both go to Trump in bigger numbers. If the polls bump positively after the New York injustice system wrongfully convicted Trump to attain election interference, it'll get down to within the margin of error with a republican winning New York for the first time since Ronald Reagan.
But wait, I thought the theory is that it wasn't fair because it was in New York and the jury must have hated him because they were New Yorkers. And yet, here you are claiming New York is very close. Is the fairness of the citizenry of New York contextual?
Have said many times and I still stand firm, the convictions will be a boon to Trump in the general, just as we saw his numbers improve with the indictments.
