Remember Spinal Tap? The Republican Party today should be called Spineless Crap.

I have seen nothing to suggest that this Republican/conservative narrative about “Sleepy Joe” is accurate. Yes, he is old and has some senior moments, but he is still in excellent control of his brain functions. There are 20 year olds less sharp than Biden.

VERY disappointed in Nikki Haley. That's being nice compared to what I was saying to the tv last night. Going on about how Biden has been a disaster?? WTH?

Accomplishments the righties would yell from the rooftops if trumph was prez:

    - Inflation went from 9.5% to 3.5% Inflation caused by COVID shutdowns and supply chain issues
    - pumped more oil into the market than trumph did - Biden’s oil boom
    - Dow hit 40,000 for the first time ever.
    - CHIPS act created thousands of jobs manufacturing semi conductor chips everyone was screaming were only being built in China
    - Believes Putin is our enemy not our friend and not one to look up to. I've seen maga's being interviewed that Russia is better than the US. WTH?!!!
    - Created more jobs than trumph - yes there was a portion that were called back to work after COVID, but federal help to those businesses allowed them to come back and rehire.
    - Infrastructure bill is building back roads, bridges and airports that were crumbling, creating even more jobs. During trump's time in the wh, every week was "infrastructure" week.
    - Worked with ultra conservative senator to put together a border bill with virtually 0 dem wants only for the republican speaker to not even put it out to the floor for a vote because dear leader thinks he can do that when he is prez. Dems will never agree just to be "that way". Then the border continues to be a non issue for law makers because they use it as a political pawn.

I just saw on the news that Target is lowering prices on needed items and McDonalds is coming out with a $5 meal. I believe this is the beginning of adjustments, just like the late 70's, when prices adjusted and incomes went up.

Meanwhile they want to point to the price of gas and the low interest rates during the pandemic, both of which were either a supply/demand effect or the feds trying to keep our economy from collapse. Thanks Donny Two Scoops for ignoring the pandemic until it took hold. good job.

Maybe? But I think that bridge is too burned for her to join the Trump inner circle. I think she is just positioning herself for ‘28. If she didn’t support the Party, she’d have no chance.

She and DeSantis? Or... who do you think she runs with in 2028?

Not DeSantis. They hate each other. 4 years is so far off. I bet she doesn’t even know who she’d run with in 28, if she even gets that far to name a mate.

I don’t think he is 100% of what he was and I’d prefer someone younger but I think he is still mostly there. I hate to project what he will look like in 4 years. Nonetheless he is far more palatable than the alternative.

Who can forget her spineless performance before the "Palmetto Patriots." No spine, no character, say whatever serves your perceived political interests at that moment in time.

No person voting for Trump will ever vote for Haley. She is backed by the Sea Island Billionaires that the America First patriots despise. DeSantis made an arrogant choice to run and looked like a fool. He and his GOP backers made a mockery of themselves. It's doubtful he will ever be President. Whoever Trump picks as his VP will be the front-runner for 2028. I doubt it will be any multiple-term politician like Scott or Rubio, and definitely not Noem.

It was written by an ultra conservative republican senator. It was a gift in any other time but now. It's against the constitution to just shut down the border, it would be challenged in court within minutes. How would Biden do this without it being successfully challenged?
So you only believe oil production is due to the president when YOUR president is in the WH?
Tumph couldn't get Israel to change their war strategy anymore than Biden can. He's so FOS his eyes are turning brown.

I'm not getting the last two sentences. Sorry.

    Who gives a s***?

Because until they all both cease and somehow atone for their current fealty and support of a criminal, they are all little more than criminals themselves. Criminal abettors, at the minimum.

oh, but yeah. Biden's pretty old. Sure.

Some Dem politicians may be dumb, some may be rats (Menendez comes to mind), but they're not spineless "ring" kissers.

I would have voted for her over Biden. But, and I know you and many others don’t agree with this, in my eyes Biden is effectively running unopposed. There is no possibility I could allow myself to pull the lever in favor of Trump.

    1. Enforcing existing immigration law is not unconstitutional.
    2. Something being unconstitutional has not stopped this administration before.
    3. Simple. The Pro-Bideners around here are blaming Republicans for failing to secure the border the border (despite Republican states going out of their way to try and secure the border themselves), crediting Biden for increased domestic oil production, and Biden is claiming to be the most pro-Israel candidate as he winks and nods at the Hamas sympathizers on his own side.

If I were to take a time machine and tell Trump supporters back in 2016 that the Democratic incumbent running against Trump in 2024, is claiming to be superior to Trump on securing the border, domestic oil production, and supporting Israel; almost everyone would have found that both ironic and hilarious.

Most of us remember the “wall of bigotry” and how climate change was going to end the Earth in like two seconnds.

Isn't taking credit for inflation reduction when their side forced the shutdowns a bit like a tornado claiming it rakes the leaves out of your yard? ;) :D

It started under Trumph. He shut everything down. I don't blame him for it, he just was too late. A million people lost their life, so shutdowns had to happen. It screwed everyone's economy, but that was the price for life.
