poor Bama, they dont even understand whats going on... AU 3-0 since eliminated.

Some teams fading down the stretch, Bama, SC, Vandy and of course Florida. Might be less SEC teams making NCAAs than thought.

 

Gonna be interesting come selection time. Looks like a bunch of sec teams at 13-17.

 

It’s beyond time for South Carolina to fire Mark Kingston. What use to be a great program has hired 2 coaches that’s been complete failures. Kingston should have never been hired to begin with.

 

We’ll happily take Petry off your hands.

Yes unfortunately. The best baseball coach in program history can’t hire a decent baseball coach….

I understand following a legend is tough and many times the next guy will fail, because he doesn’t live up to the standard.

But he had a chance to get a very good HC, but hires Kingston who was above average at South Florida.

 

He was HC there when our son graduated HS. He recruited Alan hard. Seemed like a sharp coach back then.

 

Huh? Who would you have hired?

Dan McDonnell was one of the candidates in the running.

I’ll also add with a program who won back to back titles and has a history of success. You can do better then Mark Kingston

 

I think the question is who is an actual upgrade? If it's Cliff Godwin or Dan McDonnell then yeah those are elite coaches. If not them then it's a roll of the dice and it's entirely possible you end up worse.
