Todays win would put us two games above 500, so one loss would not drop us to even. That doesn’t necessarily mean we’re automatically in, but it’s likely. If we stay above 500, we should squeak in.
I know Sully won't -- and most of ya'll wouldn't, but... with weather coming in, I'd tell the first two hitters to step on the plate and swing at the first pitch (insta-outs). Maybe let Jac give it a shot. And then give the insta-out order to Colby, too. (EDIT: looked it up, NCAA official game rule is 5 full innings.)
Not guaranteed. We'd be on the right side of the bubble with the #1 SOS and a good RPI. But if there are some upsets in conference tournaments around the country and teams who normally wouldn't get a bid get in, it could impact us getting in.
No one here knows. We would be ELIGIBLE if this scores holds up and have #1 SOS and a good RPI but definitely not guaranteed in. Feel like we would breathe easier if we won on Tuesday to, if nothing else, separate us from the other 13 win SEC teams.
Win Tuesday makes us vulnerable to 2 losses in double elimination....2-2 in Hoover would surely get us in I think win today is good enough barring a bunch of crazy tourney results
I am OK with the Gators going down quickly with a huge lead. Got to make sure we have an official game before it starts raining. I am assuming that they won't have a Sunday restart with Hoover starting on Tuesday.
Today is a travel day. They can’t even start an inning after a certain time even if the game is ongoing, meaning no delays, extra innings, etc.
