    QFT.

Meanwhile the No Fam-val League trips over itself to condemn a commencement address that merely promotes some traditional family values.

(Notice I said 'promote', bc that's all he really did. Didn't 'attack' anyone, though you'd never figure by the tantrum being thrown, and the hissy fit being pitched...).

    LOL!

His fruit as the leader of the Catholic Church is well known. I suspect you know it. And you can’t defend it with the teachings of Jesus and the Bible.

Confirming to Culture is not what Jesus or the Bible teaches if you ask me. Maybe you have a different take?

Did you read their statement? Or are you just ignorantly shooting from the hip?

I read their statement to try and see their position. It certainly did not help they would make such a false claim about Butker…

You cannot interfere with the sacrament of the Religion of the Left: abortion. If you say anything other than "you want it, you got it, anytime, anywhere, any place" you're pondscum and should not be allowed in society. Typical abortion limit in Europe is about 15 weeks, which is where we're seeing most of the USA states land. But, it's a hot button for the election because the Left has little else: vote Left or in two years it will be "Handmaid's Tale" all over the country!!! Just like the Republicans got us into a WWIII with Reagan, ooops...no. Okay, just like Republicans cut off social security, ooops...no. Just like Trump got us into a Holy War by moving our embassy to Jerusalem, ooops...no again. Why, all these evil, horrible, terrible things never seem to come about...but it's good for business. Oh, yeah, and Mitt Romney never paid his taxes, ooops...no again.

He gave that commencement address at a small private Catholic shool. When he made the point about his wife he received robust applause. What else would you have expected in that environment?

It's a culture war. He got what he expected in an allied environment. Wasn't as well received from the targets, and may not have been necessarily well received from everyone there, who may have feel understandable pressure. Who knows?

Putin I'm sure gets total applause in the Duma decrying Ukraine's rejection of their Russian "paternity". Lavrov has said Ukranians need to stop their "senseless resistance". Putin says that Ukraine is just part of Russia, ordained by God.

Ukrainians appear to not be as receptive to their so called natural role, and do not applaud such well meaning pronouncements

What? You mean people with vitriolic intentions may post incorrect information within the closely policed walls of social media? No!!!!!!!!!

The tolerant crowd would never stoop to such lows!!!

I don't believe this to be correct, especially in the south. Protection should not be limited by what state one lives in

I read the speech, and I also read the nuns response (I’m the one who found and posted it here!)

The nuns interpretation of Butkers words were exactly the same as I read them. He is clearly demeaning career women in his speech, unless you have some other explanation for “diabolical lies” and the way he dismissively segues that into “some of you might get careers” before into discussing the “vocation” of the traditional housewife. He goes so far as to say his wife’s life didn’t begin until she met him, converted to his faith, and became a mother. That is demeaning to every woman there who may have no intention of abandoning their chosen career path, or may not even have intention of marrying, let alone being a TradWife.

Even at a Catholic school, guy stepped out of bounds making super broad generalizations and assumptions about roles. Hell, if we are to take his words literally then even the nuns themselves, who take vows of cellebacy and obedience to the church are just empty vassals who missed their ultimate vocation… so it’s no wonder they too would take offense. Sounds like under that dogma they only view nuns as “the help” rather than being capable as spiritual leaders or what have you. The Catholic church is actually pretty conservative in terms of maintaining its all-male power hierarchy, so I guess that type of thinking isn’t all that surprising.

The nuns either did not listen to the speech and made an ignorant conclusion about his remarks. Or were straight dishonest about them. I don’t know. And do not claim to know.

Go and listen to his remarks. Shoot read his remarks but then listen to them. In no way does he demean women or even give any hint that homemaker is the highest calling for a woman.

This will be the subject of a coded outrage statement in the next commencement address by a member of Harrison's group

I did defend him. It was in one of your breaks between repeating the same empty catchphrases over and over. You just didn't listen.

BTW, he often confronts culture. Heck, there is a thread right at this very second on this board of him confronting the culture. You just don't like how he does it and want to substitute your judgment as the word of God.

But here you are declaring the motivation of the Pope and declaring yourself more knowledgeable than him on matters of Catholicism and morality. Again, I'd say that it is hard to imagine a more arrogant and judgemental position than that. Good luck with that.

Was the purported "Pope" even validly elected by the deep state Cardinals with their secrets ballots?

I had to look it up, but I should have known that such a movement exists. Makes complete sense.
