What point? The point that there is a New York judge who is doing everything she can to keep Trump from campaigning?

Ross Perot was included in the ‘92 election debates. Not sure he was considered capable of getting 270 votes.

Ross Perot was included in 1992 debates. I watched a roughly 13 minute infomercial about RfJ jr narrated by Woody Harrelson, in which RFK Jr discussed multiple questions. On some issues he is the polar opposite of me, but other issues I kinda liked what he said. I would like to hear what he has to say vis-a-vis the other two.

If I recall Perot was on the ballot in every state making him theoretically capable of getting 270 electoral votes and at one point in the election cycle he was actually polling ahead of both George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
THE 1992 CAMPAIGN: On the Trail; POLL GIVES PEROT A CLEAR LEAD (Published 1992)
In a three-way general election matchup, Ross Perot has moved to a clear lead over both President Bush and Gov. Bill Clinton in the latest Gallup Poll. In the telephone poll of 815 registered voters nationwide, conducted June 4 to 8, Mr. Perot was supported by 39 percent, Mr. Bush by 31 percent, and Mr. Clinton by 25 percent. The poll had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points

Perot is the only reason Clinton was elected. He was such a dipshit. That being said I would have loved to drink some beers and hang out with the guy. I remember watching in college his debates and thinking I really like this guy. I did not like his Keynesian eco views but he seemed like a dude you could drink a beer with.

I voted Bush I the first time, but I was so impressed with Clinton that I voted for him the second time. Guy was super smart.

Perot could have been an interesting guy to talk to also. Even though a billionaire, he drove an old car. He would stand in line at Sonny Bryan‘s barbecue in Dallas and then eat his lunch sitting on the hood of his car like the other customers.

A good friend of mine who rose up fairly high in government thought that Perot’s infomercials set a new standard for candidate communication with voters, such as his explanation of computer chips versus potato chips. Sadly, that standard was soon lowered.

I was speaking more of Bill Clinton. Hated his policies but really came off as a good guy.

The idea that Perot was responsible for Clinton's election is a very popular but totally false narrative. A number of post election polls indicated that Perot drew almost equally from Bush and Clinton.

Not that there is anything wrong with a married guy getting a hummer at his desk from a White House intern.

Somewhat of off-topic, back in 1998 Franklin Graham and Jerry Falwell (don't recall whether it was Junior or Senior) said that the personal moral behavior of the president mattered. When Trump was running for the presidency in 2016 Graham and Falwell, Jr made statements to the effect that the personal moral behavior of a presidential candidate was a matter between the candidate and God.

So all that " family values" bullshit they like to bark about is selective. Good to know.

Trump campaigning last night demanding Biden be drug tested before the debates.

As always this is projection, but more importantly it's "avoid debating" excuse #2. #1 is if Biden refuses to do the Fox News debate.
