It’s sad that pussy footing by the west has wasted Ukraines best troops. Kind of makes you wonder if the equipment is enough to make up the manpower differences for much longer.

interesting question as we move forward - how far does Russia have to advance before Eastern Europe feels compelled to get involved more directly? What about Western Europe?

I don’t think the weapons will make any difference. I think this was always going to happen. As I brought up earlier, what good are the weapons when you don’t have the men to use them?

Zelenskyy canceling visits with world leaders tells me he knows Kharkiv is about to fall in the next couple of weeks. As we know, Kharkiv was historically Russian.

Being historically Russian is irrelevant. Alaska was formerly Russian...

So we have you on record. Kharkiv is going to fall, right? No excuses. No bullshit about “feints.” This is going to happen, and there’s nothing that Ukraine can do to stop it, right?

Does it trigger you when I point out Kharkiv was historically Russian? Whether Kharkiv falls is likely up to Russia more than it is Ukraine at this point.

As a point of information the population of the Kharhiv Oblast of which Kharkiv is the capitol and largest city is 70.7% Ukrainian and 25.6% Russian.

I wonder if Zelenskyy now regrets needlessly bombing Belgorod. I'm sure it seemed like a smart, strategic move at the time.

Bizarre is giving him too much credit. He digs up some of the dumbest crap to support his bullshit. Neither one of his accounts are worth responding to.

    Why would he regret it?

IDK, maybe because Russia is currently mowing over village after village just over the border from Belgorod en route to Kharkiv?

Not particularly. Helsinki is historically Russian, too. So what? Do you mind committing to Russia successfully taking Kharkiv, or do you want to leave yourself some wiggle room in case they fail again?

Still don't see the connection. Was Russia not going to do that before but the Belgorod attacks (for which I can find no evidence Ukraine has taken responsibility, by the way) was the final straw for them? Russia's political goal is to take all of Ukraine. There's no one thing that Ukraine can do or not do to make them stop.

In about 18 hours, Jake's donations went from $757+K to $894+K with over 12,000 individual donations. Not bad considering his initial goal was $40,000.

I do not know what Russia's intentions are regarding Kharkiv. This could be a decoy to thin out Ukrainian defenses. But if Russia has introduced tens of thousands of more troops and they want Kharkiv, no, I don't see how Ukraine stops them.
