UCF seems to be the landing spot for many highly rated HS prospects that flame out in college.

 

Back in the 90s it was Marshall that stocked up on top talent this way. It worked very well for them.

 

They had a ton of more production to begin with.

 

im not sure how valid the stat is these days - in this spreadsheet, they include the production of transfers at the prior school not just returning players on the schools roster. There is no telling if in a new scheme, system, coaches,etc. if that transfer production will be apples to apples in a new program.

 

Worst tackling players on last years defense...man thats a title you dont want to own.

 

I know, we lost a few backups like ETN and the McClellan. But for starters, most of our starters are back.

How can Missouri have that much returning talent when the lost their #1 running back to draft or the free agency in the NFL?

 

Just like when advertisers and promoters use a metric that benefits them. This is simply one “set of data”. Statistics can be very deceptive. You have to understand the “goal” of the creator of said data.

 

I'm guessing the author of that tweet doesn't understand that Benedictine College is a small, private Catholic college and that a lot of students probably generally agree with his overall sentiment
