Looks like TAMU’s bats have cooled off at a less than desirable time.

 

i know getting sewpt at Mizzu is only something AU could accomplish.. oh wait.

It was same as almost every game. Blow 5-2 lead early, and blow 11-6 lead late.. That game was alsmost identical to UK - UF earier in day, not just the score..lol

I know UF season is bothering you way more than AU season is me..Im use to it.. But i think AU season is also bothering you more than UFs..

I watch best team in baseball nightly,, Ill be fine.. Go Os.

 

Naw, I don't get bothered by "sports" anymore. I'm 73 with a bunch of grandkids that keep me busy. I read the message board for laughs at how some wrap their lives around it and I make comments just to get a response. I did not attend UF and there are more members of my immediate family who are Auburn grads and fans.

 

So not much different than me..lol Except the grandkids part & +20 in years. All my immediate family are Gators,, son , wife, parents. Uncle/aunt , cousins in Tally are Noles/AU

Im hoping UF gets in regionals just so there will be post season banter on here..lol

And no , Iv never been 'bothered, by results.. I go in every game excpecting to lose(Im not playing). So if win ,, its a bonus..lol

 

If they do, it won't be for long. LOL.

i probably worded that wrong.. I dont expect to win, more accurate.. i expect teams I follow to show up and give effort.. Expecting any more as by stander/watcher is silly IMo.
Like this year Au team(any Butch team) i have zero issues w/ anything. Good bats, good D,, pitchers dont overly walk guys, just get shelled by good hitters.. Tip hat to good hitters , and get better. Bad pitching & bad luck will result 4-21 no matter how good the rest is. They are 19-4 ooc vs #40 ooc SOS,, but 4-21 in sec. Wouldnt think there would be that much disparity, but it snowballs quick, especially when play top 6 sec in first 6 series.

72% of SEC runs allowed by AU are via HR, & 77% w/ 2 outs.. crazy

 

yep.. Its never a good time to go cold, but if a Top 8 lock, now is as good as time as any.. As long as re heat in 3 weeks.

On a side note my family doctor is Cory Luckie, former Auburn pitcher.

 

Remember Cory well. Of course hes a Dr.. Most AU players were on academic scholly back then

He can have 3 straight years like this , and wouldnt be on hot seat, As long as thres a baseball guy as AD(Cohen) he understands this game. Record is only part of the job

Maybe fire Teaford(P coach) and see if Huddy is bored doing nothing yet.. But Teaford first year,, he came highly regarded from MLB.. Theres a few FR arms I like,, w;ell see what he can do w/ them

 

I see Vandy lost to the Vols again today. They are quickly playing there way out of the ncaas if they don't find a way to win a couple games this weekend or next. They now have the same sec record as the Gators and they finish at Kentucky.

 

Eliminated , now its time to start pounding people..lol

Projected ace Allsup had his first quality start of year, so congrats to him on that..smh

i feel sorry for Bama next week needing wins.

 

5 teams sitting on 10-12 & needing win(s) going into last week

OM @ LSU probably an elimination series. LSU 2-1 win ,could eliminate both..lol

Could included SC at 13. Get swept by Vols thats 6 straight loses to end & sitting on 13..??? .14 would obviously do it.

 

One of those teams is Vandy, sitting with 12 wins. Interestingly they are 2-10 in sec road games and finish at Kentucky who is trying to win only their second ever sec baseball title. Lot to play for there.

 

IMO Bama only one totaly safe at 13 wins, #11 RPI in back pocket.. Would drop if only got 1 at AU but not much.. AU still Q1(44 rpi). Bama sweep could actually hurt their SOS/rpi lol... Would knock AU to Q2

Not counting SC at 16, next highest rpi of that group is OM at 24.
