As others have stated, If the staff and the family come to terms I'm good with it. Not that I have the choice but I'm not bothered by it at all either. Maybe the kid and family were humbled and realize florida will provide the best resources for growth and money will follow success.

I wonder if the players are given a vote? If they are on board with bringing Cormani onto the team because they know him, then I would be more comfortable with the decision to take him. If not, then why bring a potential distraction into the locker room?

Listen maybe he had a big head. Maybe he didn't. But Im not trusting the dog and pony show in Colorado to be anything above a used car salesman in terms of evaluating and doing whats best for talent. My vote, which counts for nothing, is to let him come with a clean slate but let him know he needs us, not the other way around and he will be booted if his contribution is a net negative to the team.

If the guy can earn PT as a preferred walk on, that shows me that person is reformed. The practice field will be unforgiving, forgiveness is earned, not given, especially in light of recent history.

That's all that matters now, the fluff stuff is over, that is if the kid and his handlers know what's good for him, and them, having any chance at a professional future and associated income stream.

He broke his word and went to the 2 programs that lie the most in order to get elite recruits. Then finds out it was all BS. Eats a big slice of humble pie and now comes home looking for forgiveness and redemption. That takes guts and now it is up to Billy.

 

His NIL value definitely took a hit in his time at Colorado. He was constantly called out by Deion for not working or having the right attitude. Where ever he ends up it will be interesting to see if he’s truly grown.

Yes, but in that time we landed some really good DBs and we have better talent in that room than Cormani ever was, IMHO. If the coach wants him that is on him, but we already have great players in our DB room.

I think we're leverage... for some other team that he wants to go play for. Maybe his agent has some trick up his sleeve... either way I hope Napier doesn't fall for it.
