I honestly think we get the 5 or 6 seed. Heck of a job by the program this weekend. Haven't had internet service to be on the board but so impressed with this team.
Truth is there is such a slight difference between the majority of teams. Considering age and emotion (good and bad luck), it's really not telling. I was at the game georgia beat us in the supers some years ago. Of course we want to keep playing but it's already been a successful year!!!
From where we started, yes, this has been a successful year. In fact, anything from here on out is gravy. And, if we win it all, WOW! It’s all possible. I’m going to enjoy the ride.
Agree....which is fair and fine by me. The field is as jumbled as I can ever recall and matchups will be interesting. One thing I want is fau in gville and ucf in tally.....ucf has faced an elite schedule and will be prepped for postseason

At this point, I don’t really think our seeding really matters. It’s all about the matchup in Supers. I would like to avoid FSU just because it was tough going in both games this season and Alameda has had a lot of success against us lately. Preferably, I would like to not play an SEC team we’ve already played this season just cause they’ll have some familiarity with our pitchers and will have previously scouted us. And I would just hate to get knocked out by a team we’ve already won a series against. Given that, I would love to draw either Arkansas or Louisiana. Not sure if that will even be possible.
D1 softball projections… SIAP (4) Florida 2. Washington 3. UCF 4. Horizon League champ. They have us matched up with (13) Alabama for supers. I am fine with playing Bama again, but that regional would be a very tough draw with Washington and UCF.
D1 has: 1. Texas, 2. Oklahoma, 3. Tennessee, 4. Florida, 5. LSU, 6. Oklahoma State, 7. UCLA, 8. Stanford, 9. Duke, 10. Missouri, 11. Georgia, 12. Arkansas, 13. Alabama, 14. Louisiana, 15. Florida State, 16. Texas A&M I have heard all the arguments for it, but I still just really don’t understand LSU as a top 8 seed, let alone at 5. However, if this seeding held true, it would mean that LSU would be our first game at the WCWS if we both made it. I think I would definitely prefer that to facing Oklahoma State, UCLA, or Stanford.
Bama being top 16 is as absurd as LSU being T 8. But not surprised media/committee(same thing) have it that way. Im not going to dispute quality of SEC overall. But SEC in best of 3 series in post season(Supers/ WS finals) is sub 40%.
I don't want to be matched up against a team we've already played 3 or 4 times. But what will be will be. If I was another team I wouldn't want to be matched up against the Florida Gators!!
OT-Lacrosse beat Virginia 13-8. They will play Maryland in the Elite 8 on May 16. Beat Maryland, and they will be in the Final 4. Congrats to the ladies.
Tim Walton “ This team has a chance” Tim knows his team more than anyone and the fact he says this team has a chance to win it all gives me goosebumps. SEC Tournament: Postgame Press Conference 5-11-24
I realize I am not the first to say this but Tim did one hell of a coaching job this year taking a couple good seniors, dynamic transfers and the best group of freshmen in the country and putting together a team well beyond the expectations of some of us, including me. Of course, much of the credit needs to go to the young women who make up the character of this team. I really think Tim won't hang it up for five more years. He will want to see next year's excellent class through their four years. And, then, Francesca takes over. I am full in on the future.
