Yes unfortunately for our side if the bracket. We would play georgia in the morning then the winner of the second game in the afternoon. If UGA was gonna feed off the momentum of last night maybe this gives us an advantage there... looking for a bright spot lol.

Could LSU have scored more in the top of the 1st? Runners on first and third guetierrez hit a ball to first but stopped and stepped back towards home. So both runners had to go back to the respective bases.

 

Tennessee national seed position is already locked up. I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t take the tournament too seriously and prioritize rest. Sorta like the Gators of old.

 

We on the other hand still need a solid showing for a top 8 seed imo.

Yup! Defensively we make the highlight plays but have to make the routine plays also. Must protect our young pitchers. Can’t give extra outs to anyone but especially a team like Georgia. Pitching has to help themselves also. Pitch from ahead, limit free passes and never throw a meatball down the middle. Offense hit early, often and never take foot off gas.

 

Wouldn't be surprised to see the winner of SEC Tournament get the final eight seed.

 

Is what it is. We can only control what we can control. Guess we have to win the tournament now. Not a bad piece of hardware to add to the collection.

 

Tennessee wasn’t in the game. They’re looking ahead, this tournament meant nothing to them.

 

Maybe the correct call, but kinda tickey-tacky. If the rule is written, "step back," then OK; if the rule is written "move back toward" then no. One foot went back but her torso didn't really move back. Dunno how the rule is actually written.

 

Defense wins. Every game has been close in the tournament. Errors make a huge difference, just sayin’

I’m a Jedi lol. But being serious their national seed is locked up. I don’t know their mind but I know they want a national championship. What does burning pitchers in a conference championship get them? Florida used to do the same come the SEC tournament. Top 8 seed locked up and their eyes are on the bigger prize. It’s common sense really.
