That's going to be hard to do tomorrow, but with Jac in the lineup...anything is possible.

Who decided 1PM is the answer? I guess move it up early and then you can always push it back later throughout the day if necessary.

So every game is now an afternoon game? We are the new Wrigley Field?

    Can't make tomorrow's game.

Leading the Southeastern Conference by one game with six to play, No. 4 Kentucky travels to Florida for its final road series, which opens Friday at Condron Family Ballpark. First pitch in the opener has been moved up to 1 p.m. ET due to the threat of inclement weather.

Friday will be streamed on the SECN+ with both Saturday and Sunday on the SEC Network at noon each day.

Kentucky (35-10, 18-6) is coming off a series victory over No. 2 Arkansas last week while Florida (24-23, 10-14) dropped its rubber match at home against Tennessee. The Wildcats showed their grit after losing the opener, winning the final two games of the series.

UK is in the enviable position of controlling its own destiny as it attempts to win its second regular season league championship in its history. The final legs of its quest begins in Gainesville, close to the hometowns of both Devin Burkes and Ryan Waldschmidt.

The Cats will once again deploy a rotation of Trey Pooser, Dominic Niman and Mason Moore on the mound.

Better chance to get the game in is the rational reason.

The Gator AA is out to get me is the conspiracy theory version.

    Weather worries.

Seems like a slight advantage for KY due to lower Gator turnout.

I think that you are overselling home crowd for baseball. I think that is is more that the outfielders are more familiar with how a ball bounces off the fence and how much foul territory they have to work with. Things like that. And the advantage of batting second.

It isn't like basketball where a home crowd can get in the head of an opposing player or a home football crowd cheering so loud that can make it difficult for a team on offense to communicate. In baseball it truly is home FIELD advantage. What is different between baseball, football and basketball is that our playing fields are all different.

For sure, I don’t like the 1 o’clock. I’d rather play two on Saturday.
