Israel has committed many atrocities in this war that didn't need to happen. Multiple documented reports of citizens trying to flee through corridors identified by the IDF as safe and then firing on the same refugees trying to flee the violence, the murder of the aid workers, the limitation on the food and medical aid getting in...

Let's not forget that this occurred at a crossing where relief trucks were entering Gaza from Israel.
Israel-Gaza war: Three soldiers killed in Kerem Shalom rocket attack
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said 10 projectiles had been fired from an area near the Rafah crossing in southern Gaza, about 3.6km (2.2 miles) from Kerem Shalom.Hamas's armed wing claimed responsibility and said its target was a nearby Israeli army base. They were fired from a site some 350m from a civilian shelter, the IDF said. It called the launches "another clear example of the terrorist organisation's systematic exploitation of humanitarian facilities and spaces, and their continued use of the Gazan civilian population as human shields".

I really hope they can iron out a hostage swap. Doubt it but I hope so.

Where is a civilian in Rafah supposed to go to not be killed? At some point, there needs to be an upfront and achievable goal here on the part of Israel. The civilians need to exist somewhere. They have been pushed out of every other place in Gaza. If the goal isn't actually genocide (and I hope that it isn't), then Israel need to be able to answer the question before an invasion of Rafah. As of now, their only answer is that they can go to the completely destroyed portions of Gaza. People need shelter and basic services to live.

Derp derp. Israel is getting a ton of US and Biden support. Israel has lost all but their most fervent supporters in the world because their plan sucks. The fate of the people in Rafah has been a major area of concern of Israel’s allies — including Biden — and humanitarian groups, worried an offensive in the region densely crowded with so many displaced people would be a catastrophe. Rafah is also Gaza’s main entry point for desperately needed aid.

IDF needs to stop targeting civilians that are just walking down the toad. If they invade Rafah then it's time to cut them off

does Hamas have any role in this ‘genocide ‘? You’re on the honor code for next question. Since this began have you posted a single tweet text or email encouraging Hamas to surrender to ‘end the genocide’? We both know the answer is no.

Wow. That is as clever as an Addazio dive play. Are you suggesting there isnt "desperately needed aid" or that Hamas being a bad actor negates the need? I am not sure what you are trying to convey.
