Hoping for a night game. We should be able to see the gold chains twinkle in the dark in the streets of Gainesville.
I would guess a Saturday night 7 pm kick. One of the ESPN's likely or maybe ACC/SEC network. It's a pretty big game for early in the year.
When do we think we find out the game time? I am thinking it's a 3:30 game though but I would rather a night game so it's not so damn hot!
Nice slate. I will say the "new" college football schedules open with more exciting contests compared to the old "Cannon Fodder" of the past. Of course not playing rivals sucks. Except UF, apparantly the scheduler wanted the Gators to play 11 rivals out of 12 games ............. lol. Hoping for a night contest too!
Does Notre Dame have to be NBC I never know the rules for them. Since it's an away game is it someone else? That could be another big game and does CBS get the Georgia vs Clemson game because I would imagine that is the 8pm ABC game if so.
This definitely feels like a night game. Outside of the fanbases and the storyline of an old rivalry being renewed it doesn’t offer much on the national landscape.
At least the alumni side will be in the shade for most of a 330 game but a night game should be mandatory in 90+ degrees.
I would take anytime Saturday, including the dreaded noon start, over a bs move to Thursday like Utah last year (rumors out there).
The Utah and Bama games to start the year at the swamp were great but too damn hot. I’ll bring my ass cubes
It did but I think it would depend on whose "home" game it is even though it's in Hotlanta. I don't know if CBS has any relationship with the ACC.
Yep, that makes sense. If we play an away game it's up to the other team's network and the other team to decide where to play a game.
Hopefully we've agreed to let TV make the decision and they don't tell anybody until a week before. That would make the most sense and provide for the best experience for all those attending. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
