Will Sully clean house with his poor performing pitching and hitting coaches.. They ain't cutting it but they are ole boy buddies from the Clemson days.
Sully post game interview JAC threw really well - especially the change He played a lot this weekend, feel bad for him given all he has done for the team This one stings, inability to make a pitch to get the out fouled off a lot of 2 strike pitches, extended the AB and hit mistakes Impt game at home that spiraled out of control Moved TY behind JAC to protect JAC some Only 4 hits, TN pitchers threw strikes early in count
Man, they just kicked our butts out of our own ballpark- stop it. We all wanted to win vs Vitello but.. he's assembled a better roster and the rest is in the rearview mirror.
Yeah, I’m concerned. Coach Vit is top 5 in The country but now after he has figured it out, others will work Cags a ton extra on throws over. I’m concerned the up down up down action two nights in a row will take away from His pitching performance on Sunday. For four innings was filthy. But 5-6th looked tired so clearly others will make it so Cags pitching last will work against us. Especially after we have no Clemente, Jameson, McNellie, and Menendez left. It’s a Tennessee and others recipe for success.
Lol, so you tell us all year that Cags is an elite athlete and playing 1B two games after pitching should be no issue whatsoever from a physical standpoint.....but now you tell us IF he's on 1b and they throw over 3 or 4 times he's only going to be able to throw 4 innings before getting tired? OK
Have no idea about coaches but the roster will have to change drastically for the Gators to be competitive in the SEC again.
Just got home from the game. The top of the 6th was NOT the turning point in the game. The top of the 4th was. Until then Cags was cruising with unbelievable command on his curve. It was amazing. Then in the top of the 4th he stopped getting the close calls with his curve and UT scored twice. Momentum shift. Game over.
Nah, let me be a hater. Doesn’t matter if they’re better than us or not, he still sucks. I look forward to getting another chance to beat them next year (if we even play them with the new SEC schedule).
Idk that I would call it game over at that point. The lack of rebound runs in the 4th and 5th is what cemented it though.
My sister was a program monitor out of Argonne National Lab and had a lot of projects that she oversaw at Oak Ridge with lots of UT grads. She told me that UT was a third rate university. Wait. You wanted a joke. Sorry.
He was tired from being worked on the base paths over and over and over. That and playing first base before he pitches takes a lot out of him. Throwing over while he’s on first wire him out just enough.
Does that really wear him down? Are there any stats to show his production dipping when this happens? Genuinely curious about this.
