There is anger among western Coloradans over the wolf being introduced back into the state on the western slope where there are many more ranches with livestock vulnerable to attack. When the re-introduction proposal was made it was decided all voters in the state would have a vote in making the determination, but the only areas affected by the reintroduction are in the western part of the state.

The proposal passed, but only because more voters in the east - Denver, Boulder, voted for it. Voters in rural and western areas voted overwhelmingly against it.

Noem very likely saved us from a "Planet of the Dogs-like" scenario. She has earned her place on Mt. Rushmore. November 30th will be a national holiday.

Cricket could have been the next Caesar.

    She's a victim.

Kristi Noem cast herself as the victim of a liberal- and media-run smear campaign at a Republican donor retreat on Saturday...

"...I mean they’re just attacking me like crazy right now,” Noem said.

More lies from Noem's book being exposed.

" Ms. Noem describes the call as starting with Ms. Haley offering to mentor her during her first term as governor of South Dakota, but then saying: “I’ve heard many good things about you. But when I do hear bad things, I will make sure that you know. I’ve enjoyed talking to you. We will visit soon. Goodbye.”

"Ms. Noem then recounts the conversation with her secretary, writing that she said: “I’m pretty sure I was just threatened by Nikki Haley. It was clear that she wanted me to know that there was only room for one Republican woman in the spotlight. It was weird.”

"Nikki has long called and written notes supporting other women when they go through challenging times,” Ms. Denton (Haley spokeswoman) said in a statement. “She called Governor Noem in 2020 to encourage her when she was criticized for keeping her state open during Covid. How she would twist that into a threat is just plain weird.”

"Future editions of the book will correct the timeline, clarifying that Ms. Noem spoke with Nikki Haley in 2020 and met with her in 2021. Mr. Fury did not specify other changes to the anecdote, in which Ms. Noem writes that the implication she got from the call was that “I’m the alpha female here, and you should know your place.” She also wrote of Ms. Haley: “I actually felt a little sad for her.”

Man, years ago you at least used to add some value to your posts every now and then. Now you do do nothing but whine and lie.

    Have some decency. Seriously.

As VP she’d be able to kill people and, as long as they were Russians, be lauded on this board for it.

But alas, with her chances flagging, she’ll probably be consigned to killing chicken-eating dogs.

One of my dogs has done everything over her life to make mine difficult. Destroyed my perfect lawn by digging, destroys my house during any thunder storm… including during the early AM, which requires someone to get up to stay with her. Punched a giant hole through drywall, and did other things harmful to herself due to storm anxiety. Scratched brand new expensive hurricane doors. The list goes on and on.

I don’t have a great relationship with the dog… never have. My relationship with my other dog is great in comparison. I couldn’t imagine actually murdering the problem dog. I’ve thought about giving her away, but she is part of the family and I couldn’t do that to the dog. In many ways it’s our fault for not being more experienced/skilled owners.

Noem is a piece of work for killing that dog.

I gotta be honest here. I don’t think Rick has changed in the slightest. He was floating Qanon conspiracies on this board before Ron Watkins was a twinkle in his daddy’s eye. In a weird twisted way it kinda makes me respect him for being so far ahead of the curve.

Yeah, but he would toss in something useful every now and then. Now, it's all just bitterness and lies.

Thats sad. Has her storm anxiety gotten worse over time as she ages? I know some people give their dogs low doses of meds during storms or fireworks.
