if a kid wants to go, acceptance is not an issue as St Pete College has 100% acceptance rate as I understand. I know PP protects against spikes, but as it were, our ROR sucked I remember
Yeah it's weird. I think the 247 Overall Ranking must now somehow factor in their transfer rating with their normal high school recruiting ranking. The Composite is that 247 Overall Ranking averaged in with all other rating agency rankings.

Does anyone think it is an automatic admission if I dress my daughter in a "I just sacked Troy Smith" shirt for her tour? Mom said not a good idea but if I were on admissions that kid would get in with a 1.0 GPA.
My daughter will be a HS senior next year and is on track to have her AA via dual enrollment with Pasco Hernando College. From what I’ve been told, she’s guaranteed admission to UF as a new yet transfer student. She gets good grades and might get in anyway, but I was glad at the news. Only negative is she’ll miss out on two years of Bright Futures.
Composite ranking is new recruits that signed. We were ranked 13th. Our transfer class was ranked 9th. Our combined ranking was #7.
Guaranteed admission for AA students is an old thing. Unless it changed in the last few years, there is no guaranteed admission for AA. She will apply as a regular HS senior and if denied she can reapply as a transfer. UF doesn't state it but my thought is they like AA students because of the obvious accomplishment but also helps the likelihood of a student graduating in 4 years which helps school ranking.
