(SB) Official Game Thread - UF @ FSU - Wed. 5/1 - ACCN 7 PM

That was freaking awesome. Kendra Falby! And great job by Rothrock coming back in.

 

Give both teams credit, no quit.

 

Looks like they scored it as an sb. I have quite a few plays scored differently than the official scorer for this game though. They only hit us with one error.

Some ugly unis for nulls..that head in the middle of their shirts looks like a big target

 

You and I have wildly different definitions of perfect. LOL

But yeah. Love to see their hopes crushed like that.

 

Snapped their 14 game winning streak and their 6 game winning streak over us

 

I don’t think any of us had a Falby dinger on our bingo card. That was a pleasant surprise.

 

When Noles tied game up in 7th, I didn't think we had a chance. Boy was I wrong. Wildest softball game I have ever seen. Kendra's performance might have been the greatest single game performance by a Florida softball player ever.

 

Falby was hitting with power when she stood in last night. I wish she would do a lot more of that. Throw in an occasional bunt/swinging or otherwise, when the defense gives it up. Repeatedly trying to race for first on an infield tap with the defense playing in is not good odds. Props to our MVP Kendra Falby for an awesome finish.

 

Well that was certainly a rollercoaster of emotions. Really proud of the fight they showed to overcome the adversity in the seventh. Could have easily let that game slip away. Big win in a lot of ways! Go Gators!

 

The ACCN/ESPN announcers for most part had no clue as to what was going, but continued to babble to act as if they did.

 

We had 3 errors in one inning???

 

I really thought they did a nice job. Brought great insight. Also the ump behind the plate was consistent. Let u know the zone early and stayed right there.
The only problem I had was the length of the game . No time clock, too many silly conferences!

 

Are you saying you liked our unis? Thought ours were hideous

 

The non stop babble was mind numbing

 

I watched ACC Now after the game and it was a total clown show. All they talked about was the FSU comeback in the 7th and how great it was. Gave little credit to the Gators. If you hadn't watched the game, based on their post game reporting, you weren't sure who won the game.

 

I didn't think our orange pinstripes look bad..not my favorite uni..but I am not one to like black uniforms...but if the recruits and players like it...
