Almost certainly not getting paid, but you aren't supposed to put that in your Motion to Withdraw. Down here you use "irreconcilable differences" in your motion. Everyone knows what you mean. AJ Delgado can be an interesting feed. Trump adviser is Jason Miller. I used to follow her but she irritated too much. Miller is scume and obsessed with Hillary still.
This may drive only me crazy. I subscribe to Josh Barro and Ken White's podcast Serious Trouble. I do so reluctantly because Ken is far smarter than I on federal criminal issues and analyzes Trump's issues in a way I have found reliable and fair. I despise Barro. Despite claiming to be left of center, and throat clearing to that effect, he constantly downplays the Trump risk, and did again in today's episode. ST EP92 - transcript Josh Barro And so, you know, when when Donald Trump was elected president, he didn't lock Hillary Clinton up, even though he said he was going to. And so I'm actually, you know, on a substantive level, I'm not that worried about pre textual prosecutions of Joe Biden, because I actually think they won't work very well. You know, it's plausible that they'll be prosecutions of Hunter Biden, but you know, those are not necessarily pre textual. And to the extent they are, that's going to be a problem for those prosecutions. So I actually, when I look at that I'm I kind of think the system has does have reasonably good safeguards there. Ken corrects him Ken White My reaction to that, Josh, is that when you've seen the system going after Trump, for the most part, you've seen people bending over backwards, to be process oriented and institutional, and follow the rules in a way that you do not often see to this level of of care in criminal prosecutions. So I don't think it's going to be as secure as secure protection, as you're suggesting. Why does this drive some of us crazy? Because of Josh's past. The top example But he keeps it up - no learning from the past. Don't be alarmed - Trump will not act badly - he's just talking.
Bannon finally having to deal with reality without a djt pardon to save his hide this time. Surprisingly, Merchan is the judge on his case too. Considering that his two partners in crime both plead guilty and got 3 and 4 years, I suspect Bannon is going to have to do real time when this finally gets to trial in September Steve Bannon to Face the Music (msn.com) Bannon has pleaded not guilty to several charges of money laundering, conspiracy and scheming to defraud in connection with $15 million in donations a "We Build the Wall" fundraising campaign received. Merchan originally scheduled Bannon's trial to take place in May, but he has since postponed the case until September. The judge is presiding over Trump's hush-money trial, which is on break Wednesdays and expected to last several more weeks. Newsweek had contacted Bannon for comment via email. In September 2022, Bannon was charged in connection with money laundering allegations that stemmed from a GoFundMe campaign to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, a key 2016 campaign promise from Trump. Bannon was previously charged in an almost identical federal investigation before being pardoned by Trump hours before the then-president left office in January 2021. ......................... In April 2023, Brian Kolfage, a U.S. Air Force veteran and founder of the We Build the Wall organization, was sentenced to over four years in jail after he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and other tax- and wire-fraud charges in connection with the millions donated to the campaign, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York said in a press release. Andrew Badolato, a co-defendant, also pleaded guilty to wire-fraud conspiracy and was sentenced to three years.
From a further contempt hearing this morning. DT's attorney was trying to defend and promote his contumacious postings by saying that he was provoked by various tweets, including this one. So it had to be shown in court while he was sitting there
con·tu·ma·cious /ˌkänto͝oˈmāSHəs/ adjective ARCHAIC•LAW adjective: contumacious (especially of a defendant's behavior) stubbornly or willfully disobedient to authority. "his refusal to make child support payments was contumacious"
This court case seems to really be having a negative effect on OMB......... Trump delivers pizza to New York City firefighters in campaign stop after day in court
I have no words. Only to say, who's the bigger fool? Trump, or the ones who follow and believe his BS?
There is nothing stopping him from testifying, only it would be a really bad idea from a legal standpoint as he is a perjury machine and would be subject to cross examination. Yet his followers will lap this BS up. smdh.
First responders have my utmost respect......everyday heroes........ Trump visited the same fire department on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.
Absolutely, I completely agree. I was making a reference to his fake UAW rally....in a nonunion shop with fake autoworkers....he staged a few months ago at a cost of $20K.
