Lack of depth in the circle is rearing its ugly head again.

 

Cannot blame the pitcher in this. Yes the walks happened but the defense should've made the plays. Tough one to swallow.

 

This game is on Wallace. Seriously, she's your star and she cost this team this game. Dribbler with bases loaded. Nothing at the plate except a merciful sac fly. Then two plays in the bottom of the 7th in the field.

 

Right now I would just take holding them here and hope for an 8th inning

 

In fairness to KR, the debacle this inning is entirely on the infield. This game should have been over 5 batters ago.

 

Not really. Three missed plays by the middle infield or this game would have been over. You can’t expect the pitchers to get you 6 outs an inning.

They generated ground balls that should've been outs.

 

Maybe so. But we still give up too many walks throughout the game.

Well, at least KR is getting worn out just two days prior to an important SEC matchup.

 

Defensive miscues aside, I hope our pitchers develop some strikeout ability next season. Seems like they rarely get strikeouts.
