The REAL value of weed: When the individual HUMAN reaches the saturation point, of adhering to the "Atlas Shrugged" tonnage of LUNATIC human laws and regulations, in hopes that (said) adherence, applied with vigorous societal ass kissing, will keep one out of jail, THAT DAY, and back to the SALT MINES tommorrow, YES, cannabis does offer temporary, albeit far too brief succor, from this ridiculous human society we are jammed into. Now go find me a...................SHRUBBERY!
I'm a "merican" you try to take my emotional support smoke (oops I meant SNAKE) and I'm fillin ya full of lead!
Why is pot good for cancer and Parkinson's? What else might it be good for? I agree about the present rules being hypocritical, which is why I think it should be legal for anyone over a certain age. Additionally, I think anyone active duty in the military ought to be allowed to buy pot or alcohol no matter their age.
I don't really support alcohol, but since I have been drinking since 1978 I still quaff a few. I consider both equally non-productive. And yes, I was quite the MJ consumer in the 70s and 80s, including growing my own. What can I say?
Yep, die hard Gator football addicts... I went the other way and I am now embracing vitamins and others non-illicit non-PED supplements. If I'm going to get old I don't want to get so decrepit that I trip over a carpet ripples when I get there. No offense to Bill.
I don't think you understand how the game is rigged or you're just being obtuse for the sake of being obtuse. Cannabis is a schedule I controlled substance at the federal level. It has nothing to do with red state vs. blue state. Plenty of Democrats in Washington to strike that down yesterday. But it hasn't been and the answer is money. Could big pharma sell cannibas at CVS if it was legalized? Sure they could. But what kind of money are they going to make on something that is very easy to grow and cultivate in one's own backyard? They would much rather push you towards their high-dollar synthetics that you can't mass produce in your garden at home. Legalization is big pharma's worst nightmare, because it dents the demand of their dangerous, addictive and costly synthetics. And that is the only reason marijuana is still a schedule I controlled. Unfortunately, Gov. Abbott nor Gov. DeSantis have any control over what is considered a 'controlled' by the DEA.
I agree in principle with what you are saying. My lay research reading indicates that pot changes a developing brain. If we could encourage people not to smoke pot until they are over 30. I have no idea how to accomplish this.
It’s ridiculous that someone cannot eat, smoke, purree a plant that easily grows in the yard, that includes opium. I don’t care what any adult smokes, injects , snort etc. just don’t ask me to pay for it or any medical attention needed as a result.
"Now sir, before we treat you for this heart attack, we need to know how much beef you've eaten in the last decade, there are people saying they wont pay for it if you had too many cheeseburgers"
William f Brinkley’s solution was an instant execution of anyone selling drugs under age. That seems a bit excessive to me.
Damn, my life just got a lot more complex. Now I am also an ammosexual, a carsexual, and a sport sexual. I’m trying to downsize and simplify and just can’t seem to catch a break.
