Blessings G8orbill... shoulder stuff takes a minute for healing. May the recovery be expedited and complete. Might be sleeping in a recliner for a while.

This is the 3rd surgery on this shoulder- I slept in a recliner for 6 months after the 1st surgery- bought a sleep number bed prior to my 2nd surgery and raise the bed up to mimic a recliner
tore my labrum in 2013
tore my rotator cuff in 2015
tripped over a rippled carpet in the sales center for selling new homes for a builder back in Dec- came away with a concussion, 4 herniated discs in my neck and I retore both my labrum and my rotator cuff, ruptured my bicep tendon, and both the CC ligament and the CI ligament were separated from the joint - getting old ain't for sissies

Sounds like Bill will be a rich man and a call to Morgan & Morgan is needed. Ripped carpet in a Sales Center resulting in multiple injuries impacting quality of life.

Geeze, I'd get the surgeon to do the operation in a recliner, on the floor. Lower the probability of a fall. Get healed up. We'll all be praying.

FWIW-You might need the Brondell 1400 Bidet. A true gem when range of motion is an issue.

Dang G8orbill, be careful. That sounds like something I’d do. Hope the surgery goes well and that you heal quickly….and hope you’re able to sleep comfortably, no matter if in a recliner or in bed.
