And she still has a job as of now. She got caught speeding, refused to pull over til she got home (calling the local police chief on her way), refuses to come out of her garage, and then says she’s the one who prosecutes tickets, insinuating she would tear it up. Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley calls chief, drives home before pulling over for police
I am typically in favor of eliminating about 50% of all laws. In a rare and excessive moment of exception, I would be in favor of a “Do You Know Who I Am And This Is Mandatory 90 Days” law.
agree on all counts. Reading this I thought there should be FAR stricter penalties for BIG GOV assholes who try to skirt the laws they gleefully hammer others for. p.s. I MISS ELITES!
[FULL VIDEO] Police release bodycam footage of Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley traffi (youtube.com) Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley drove home and called the Webster police chief when officers tried to pull her over for speeding Monday. Officer-worn body camera footage of the incident was released to the public Friday. What a bitch, this cop was extremely patient, he should have arrested her arrogant as ass. She's like the other DA's in NY rude and obnoxious
I remember another similar case recently involving a traffic stop (actually can think of another more heinous one too, a state level official who struck and killed someone in a hit and run then used his position to help cover it). This probably happens far more than we hear about. Kudos to that officer for not taking her BS. Although I’d wonder if one of the “boys in blue” was doing 55 in a 35 if he’d do the same. You want to think this means he’s altruistic and would enforce 100%, but you can’t assume that. Could just be trying to score points. But the woman is clearly wrong (and an idiot) either way.
Well, in the case of these liberal district attorneys (especially those banked rolled by the Soros organizations) the designation “DA” obviously stands for something else.
Love to see these people face consequences for thinking they're above the law and hope she gets disciplined, but help me out where conservatives draw the line on this kind of thing: Using position of power to speed while driving = bitch, rude, arrogant, obnoxious Using position of power to try and overturn an election and steal classified documents = vote for this person for Preisdent That about right?
But Bragg and James are Democrats, and according to https://www.whec.com/top-news/it-do...video-of-das-interaction-with-police-officer/ TV news, Sandra Doorley is a Republican. "Rochester City Council members are now calling for New York State Attorney General Letitia James to investigate Doorley’s behavior. In a letter sent to the Attorney General’s Office Saturday morning, all nine City Council members say they are united in their call for an investigation into what happened and “accountability in this matter would demonstrate that no one, regardless of their position, is above the law.” "Rochester City Councilmember Mary Lupien says she is glad all nine councilmembers signed onto the letter Saturday morning asking the Attorney General to investigate Doorley’s conduct — and is calling for her immediate resignation. "In a statement, Monroe County Democratic Committee Chairman Stephen DeVay said: “Sandra Doorley’s behavior during a routine traffic stop is the latest example of law-and-order Republicans nationwide and in Monroe County demonstrating they think the law doesn’t apply to them. “'I call on Sandra to honor her initial statement — ‘Nobody, including your district attorney, is above the rule of law’ — by issuing an apology to the community she serves and a plan to do better moving forward. I also urge her to give careful consideration to whether she is still able to stand by her commitment to public safety and to upholding our laws as she was elected to do.'” ___________________- The linked article also stated Doorley is a Republican, adding Rochester's News10NBC had reached out to the Republican committee chair, but had received no response.
Elitist trash. Repeatedly mentioning her "big black suv" as if it was some unapproachable status symbol. People have bad moments and if she had collected herself at any point and showed an ounce of humility there might have been a path for believable contrition yet she doubled down on it at the end when she said she'd "prosecute herself." She looked like a child that got her way at the end of the video and her "apology " should be held against her given the recording of events.
Don't elected officials have total immunity for any crimes they commit while in office? I'm confused.
