Well, when you think that you have about seen everything to see at the ballpark—go see the Gators play.

Thank goodness they haven’t yet asked us to execute or defend a squeeze play……

21-21. We are not as mediocre as our record indicates. This has to be one of Sully's (and staff) least impressive coaching performances.

For the more knowledgeable, how much of this is on the coaching vs players not executing? Donay at 3rd getting thrown out at home? Not challenging the strikeout/foul/hbp? Runners on first not going to third on hits to RF?

Looks like everybody needs to be running some poles and stadium steps, huh?

I think there is less than 1% chance they would have changed the call on Evans. There was little there to see. I thought it might have hit his hands on the bat, but did not act that way. Donay is on Donay. He has to know where the ball is.

Taylor Black has to follow the ball and know exactly where it is... Donay has one foot on the bag waiting to push off when the coach yells-- GO!

I would argue the third base coach deserves some blame on that travesty as well

Agreed. But we have to acknowledge that we have a patterned history of base running blunders. Honestly, I don’t know why continued base running errors don’t put your arse on the bench. It’s been that way everywhere I’ve ever played or coached.

You make the mistake in a game—you pay for your mistake running poles and stadium steps. You make the mistake again, your butt is sitting on the bench.
