I’m barely getting started. One thing I hate and another I find annoying: (1) US foreign policy (2) Murican bravado.
You exceeded expectations. I expected you to post come on mans from your hole. At least you came out to post a meme.
Cavitation of any type is the last thing a submarine wants to have. That's called ringing the dinner bell for all of the hungry sub-hunters in the area. Submarines want stealth, not speed. Now you might want your torpedoes to have maximum speed, but for the sub itself, it is not that useful, especially if everything within a thousand miles can hear it. And I have doubts that this technology will be feasible in the next few decades, before China's economy collapses completely and the country fractures into regional states.
Every time Blinken talks to the Chinese he comes back like a whipped school child. China isn’t going to be bullied or pushed around by the US. Blinken apparently got sent back to the airport for return to US with no Chinese diplomatic escort, which is unheard of. The equivalent of saying “f*** you” in diplomatic language.
You probably need to read up on the history of China. Their civil wars throughout history make the U.S. Civil War seem fairly mild and short-lived in comparison. And, yes, the country did fracture into smaller countries for fairly long periods of time. This kind of history tends to lead to power-hungry dictators that hold on to power any way they possibly can, killing millions of people if necessary (like Chairman Mao did).
No, he can't. He's hard-wired to hate the U.S. He had a bad childhood, and grew up into a bitter adult, blaming all of his problems on his own country. (He is the world's worst salesman, likely interrupting his sales pitch to tell people that their country is horrible and they should be ashamed of themselves.) Lee Harvey would rather live in Russia, but he can't move there because deep-down, he knows the problem is him, not the country he lives in. And he knows he would not be humored in Russia once he turned on his new country and started complaining.
An article that explains what to look for before China invades Taiwan. Everyone can already see the military buildup for China. They have recently started organizing commercial shipping vessels into auxiliary units of the military so they will be ready to deliver heavy equipment once China secures a port in Taiwan. China has already started increasing the scale of military exercises around Taiwan, so that when the actual invasion occurs, it will start out looking like a very large military exercise (not unlike Russia's exercise on the Ukraine border in 2022). The red flags that will tell us when China's actually ready to invade Taiwan

Yeah. I found it best to treat him like that simple minded kid throwing a tantrum. Just ignore. As an aside to all the stupidity the pravda parrots are spewing, I've been enjoying your posts Chem.
A professor at McGill University explains why lasers powering subs are highly unlikely to work. Chinese scientists want to use lasers to power ultrafast, stealthy submarines. A laser expert says there's a major flaw in their plan.
China's newest aircraft carrier heads to sea for the first time. This one is a little less of a joke than the other two--it has an electromagnetic catapult system. However, it is still reliant on fossil fuels to power it, and is undersized compared to U.S. carriers (holds 60 planes vs. 75 for U.S.. It is probably quite a bit slower than U.S. carriers. Most likely, the catapult system design was stolen from U.S. defense firms. The catapult allows the carrier to launch planes loaded with more fuel, increasing the combat range of the carrier. Hopefully, the U.S. commits to taking better care of its technological secrets in the future. The U.S. has three new aircraft carriers under construction. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/05/01/...rrier-fujian-sea-trial-intl-hnk-ml/index.html
